If you're going to boycott a beer brand (Bud Lite) and rocket another beer brand (Modelo) to #1 in sales, it's a good idea to make sure the other brand isn't being brewed by the SAME COMPANY (AB-InBev), or you've accomplished nothing, lol. By the way, if something Modelo did angered you and you're thinking of switching to Corona... read the list.

Molson Coors, same thing. Boycott Miller Lite because you don't like their politics? Switch to Coors Lite? Eh-eh. They're both made by Molson Coors, so you've just robbed Peter to pay Paul. Molson Coors brews 90 different brands in the U.S., and 30 brands in Europe. Boycotting a brand? Do your homework.
