Little Library Bench in front of Macon Arts Alliance. Little Libraries are free public book exchanges. They are “take a book, leave a book” boxes that are artistically decorated and located in public spaces.

The bench was built by Valkill Furniture with artwork by Triangle Arts Macon to honor the Macon arts community.

Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church located at 859 1st Street in Downtown Macon.

The Bohemian Den was created in out of a desire to offer an unparalleled retail experience in Macon, Georgia. A place where artisans and artists can showcase goods that speak to the essence that is Downtown Macon.

They have added an ever-expanding array of bells and chimes, books, candles, crystals and stones, incense, faire trade jewelry, kantha quilts, singing bowls, smudging wands, soapstone, tarot, totas, and more.

The Bohemian Den recently won the OUT Georgia Business Alliance 2022 Small Business of the Year and our owner, Scott Mitchell, was named the Macon-Bibb Chamber of Commerce Small Business Leader of the Year.

One of many Graffiti Walls in Downtown Macon established by The 567 Center for Renewal to provide graffiti and mural artists a legal place to practice their craft. Anyone, whether professional artist or aspiring artist, is able to use the wall as a blank canvas to express themselves and create art without causing property damage for building owners.

Built in 1884, The Grand Opera House has seen many, many patrons pass through its doors. This photo makes me sad. The three triangles in this photo are actually the charred remains of burned rafters from the Nu-Way restaurant that recently caught fire. Unfortunately, the building was a total loss.
