From close to where I was standing for yesterdays photo of townhall, I turned around and shot in the other direction. The boathouses just to the left are essentially downtown.

Located in northern Middle Tennessee, Nashville is the main core of the largest metropolitan area in Tennessee. The city is located on the Cumberland River, and famous for music.
It was nice to linger along the street... listened to the music. I had conference at downtown, captured the downtown skyline 3 nights in a row, the two bridges are nice to walk in the night lights... :))
Early morning before crowds arrive and boats churn up all the water. The floating green algae looks like jade.
this past week was my first time traveling to Portland Oregon and I have to say that I absolutely loved it. can't wait to go back.

Coulterville is a picturesque little place in Mariposa County that seems a little down on its luck. It is in the Register of Historic Places and the buildings evoke a Wild West kind of place but sadly most of the businesses seem defunct. Hopefully the end of Covid may bring more visitors back to the area and some trade too. It was sad to see this place in this state as it is well preserved and has a lot going for it
