The downside to the Sian Ka'an - since no one cleans the beaches, there's an astonishing amount of trash at the tideline. Drifts of plastic bottles and all manner of other goodies. Here is a sea-bleached bottle of Jack, sitting miraculously upright.
The downside to the warmer weather we are finally getting is that it has chased the bald eagles back north. Standing outside in subzero temps was not exactly my idea of fun, but when watching and photographing these wonderful birds, it didn't seem quite so cold.
The downside of having the cupped washer inside: The hardware protrudes further into the fender, increasing the risk of things getting stuck.
