the third in my series of surreal and dreamy images, inspired (in my own way) by Alice and her adventures in distortion.... if you haven't seen them yet, here is the first one, and and here is the second.
Today, Binky the Teddy and I decide to skip town for an adventure...wherever the wind takes us!
12/24/09 – Day 358 of 365
We woke up to a world covered in a thick layer of ice! The rain from the day before had continued on into the night. The whole family went out at various times to take photos and we all chose this one for the 'photo of the day.' This shot is by Jackie, taken with the Nikon Coolpix P5100. We always manage to get awesome macro shots with that little point & shoot!

I recently discovered a texture package that I like it very much; its name is 'Flypaper Textures', by borealnz and Paul Grand.
I couldn't resist having a first and quick test on a picture I uploaded some months ago. In this case I used the following textures: 'Orient Express', 'Dove Grey' i 'Raw Linen'.
Here is another of my large Messenger/Diaper bags. I love the combination of this soft grey and pale yellow! The print reminds me of beekeeping in the Fall. Typically, around August a keeper will move her hive to the mountains so that the bees can feed on fireweed, which grows at higher elevations. Fireweed looks a lot like the flowers on this bag. And doesn't the color of the lining remind you of creamed honey?
This bag has nine pockets and holds more than you will want to carry. It's sturdy and stylish; what more could you want?

As in a sartorial artwork, the metal is wrapped around the luminous body of Evita in a garment stitched together by a single continuous gesture, forming a spiral rotation of 90 degrees. It is characterized by a strong graphic style and a clean and refined image that easily becomes imprinted in one's memory, as it unwinds in space and traces out curved lines and surfaces, lightness and dynamism.
With its fine lines, Evita clothes the light with its physical elusiveness, delicate elegance and stylistic cogency.
Its name recalls the gracefulness and strength of far-reaching feminine figures such Evita Peron, whose character evoked the imagination of the whole world, inspiring writers, musicians and directors.
Similarly, the feminine image of delicate elegance of the luminous body stimulates the imagination and opens itself to multiple evocative interpretations.
The result of a new poetic and dynamic quality that makes the produce versatile, original and geometrically complex, it diffuses light, thanks to its rotation, according to how it is placed. It is always in harmony with its environment, and generates unique atmospheres in any given space.
Evita is available as both a floor or wall version.
