I'm being a bad Flickrite, I know. Haven't uploaded in a week, or commented for that matter. Sorry guys. Been busy and kinda out of it.

This is a shot I worked on for last week but then decided not to use it. But hey, last week's reject is this week's freak-feature! 'Cuz I'm lazy like that—or at least this week, I am. Ain't it amazing how hard this is to look at? It kinda hurts the eyes... eye... eyes...

Anyway, been camping, so plenty o' outdoors shots coming your way.

On black if you really want...

And you, my friend – shall I call you doubletime from now on? – cut and run to the multiverse where you can merge with death! And by the devil – enjoy it!”

I spent a good portion of the time lagging behind for a shot and then marching doubletime to regroup.. My favorites from the trek were well worth the extra hustle needed to catch back up with the pack.

Debra Charron's eyes sparkle bright green as her fingers close around her objective. World Union rules forbade firearms on the mainland, so she'd taken to carrying the collapsible baton for "emergencies" while there. She slips it from its clips on her left thigh and flashes it upwards with all the strength she can muster, attempting to bloce the stunner along its non-conductive length. The predatory grin on Debs face becomes more pronounced as her baton sweeps towards her opponent........her humanity receeding as the predator takes hold of her. And female predators defending their young rarely know anything of fear..............

Esha Rajal cursed the fact that she was no longer holding a cigarette, what with the look from Ro and all. She just shook her head at Ember.

Pyros Zenovka just groan more as he feels the baton strike at his leg bring him down a level or two to her now the two standing about the smae height. His own baton sparks as he moves to bring it down into one of the shoulder or the collar bone as he feels more pain from the baton. He knows he cvan;t last much longer with the bleedings a few more hits and he hopes with the blood loss will take care of the dog.

Chrysannya Newall unclipped her left smartgun and realoaded it with slick rounds. Feeding one into the chamber she'd rest her forearm on her knees in a stable posture, the laser able to flick on at any moment. If the Major went down the freak wasn't going back to gloat about it. She'd aimed just where his left temple would be in a second or two. At this range she'd only miss by dumb luck even without the laser.

Debra Charron twists her body savagely, taking the stunner hit on her left shoulder and growling in pain as more tissue goes dead under its influence. From its cold and dispassionate place, her intellect takes stock of her body......left arm and shoulder stunned, bleeding furiously at the abdomen.........strength beginning to leach away with her blood supply...and the pain. Her intellect marshals her resources with all the calculation of a chessmaster peering at his pieces and ruthlessly makes demands of her flesh. Despite the increased pain, her body continues the spin begin when she took the hit to her left shoulder into a full 360-degree rotation, as her right arm comes around - she slashes savagely at the man's injured throat with her baton......knowing that her strength is fading fast - she does all she can to make this one count before the lights go out for her. Her teeth are bared, displaying every pearly-white as the baton moves like liquid black lightining.......

Pyros Zenovka just lets out agroan as his last attack goes down for her other shoulder with the baton and then stumbles as he feels the her own cracking into his thoart. Her was already bleeding to death and now the massive tramua to his neck he can;t take it anymore his body is now in shut of mood. His baton comes down towards the woman wither it hits or not his eyes won;t tell him as they close and he falls over into the blood caked sand.

Remamian Takashi stands up from the sandy pathway and dusts off her hands seeing the end drawing near she looks over twords the crowd and nods to esha, hopeing she would understand the statement. She looks back down to deb and waits for the next move before she would head on down to tend to deb

Chrysannya Newall reacts as soon as she sees the UAC guy going down, her gun already moving towards its clip as she hopped to her feet and sprinted low across the sand. Reaching for her belt medkit she'd bawl "MEDIC!" in her best paradeground voice

Deets Carroll glances to Tres, the loathing in her voice apparent. "Get out of here. Or I'll kill you."

Kimani Silvercloud stands up and looks down as pyros goes down

Debra Charron is still extended from her viscious slash at the man's throat when his deadweight-hand on the stunner grazes her abdominal wound. All kinds of fireworks explode in her head as the stunner assaults the already brutalised nerve-endings. Seeing her opponent collapse, her intellect shudders and calm returns to her soul...the predator receeds. She feels her body releasing itself, slumping first to her knees and them onto her side, barely propped up on her good arm and looking down at the man. It occurs to her that she might be able to crush his throat with the last of her energy, but the man was ..in the final analysis...just following orders. "Commisar"...she croaks......"I'm not the monster here" Deb looks at the man's fading consciousness as her own slips away, "You just got yourself fucked-up defending the monster." Blood drips from the corner of her mouth onto his face as she utters one final sentence, ...........(continued))

Debra Charron says in a hoarse voice, "My humanity isn't in my flesh, its in my soul.......which is much more than your boss can say." Deb shudders ans the lights start to go out......"Good fight tho....." Deb Charron's eyes finally dim as her body collapses to the sand, atop her opponent.............her breathing ragged and her body still trickling life out onto the sands...........

Jaina Lefevre slowly gets to her feet and starts to make her way down the hill, slipping and skidding until she landed near the broken rowboat, watching her Mom and the others. She whispers "Please..please...please..." more to herself than anyone else.

Chrysannya Newall kneels next to Deb as she tears open the medkit looking for the pressure bandages "Helps here boss...hang in thar, we gotcha" in a surprisingly reassuring tone

Tres Asbrink just grunts and truns and waves for the npc marine medic team that appears from his rear to grab the fallen soilder and move to drag him off

Jonathon Coage cold blues remain on the two as they collapse, his face completely emotionless as he processes the sight. They dart to Taiyou, as if looking for permission to walk down and retrieve the major or set fire to the other opponent.

Kimani Silvercloud watches Jaina run down the Hill, she glances over towards Tres angrily

Remamian Takashi lets out a sigh as she walks down onto the beach walking up twords deb she looks down at the commisar and then over to the groggy deb she lets a smile cross her face "Took you long enough, and look what a mess you made" She nods to chrys and looks down at the passed out deb, quickly she turns to face tres, giving him a solmn nod "Take your wounded and leave" she scoffs "And your wounded pride"

Tres Asbrink is dragged off by the random marines and just grunts

Esha Rajal caught Taiyou's glance and moved down the hill toward Jaina, leaning forward to whisper into her ear.

Jaina Lefevre looks from Chrys to her mom. She just stands there, gripping the edge of the boat and watching them work on Deb. "Not leaving my Moms." she says to Esha.

Chrysannya Newall looks up to Jaina with an uncharacteristic smile "Good for you honey...put your hands here...press down. I can work on the other wounds while you do that...the stretcher will be here any minute...Your mom's gonna be fine"

Kimani Silvercloud backs up the hill, allowing the adults to handle something she cant help with

Jaina Lefevre nods and hurries over to do just as Chrys asks. She whispers. "Love you, Mommy..you're gonna be okay. "

Rai Pawpad watches Jaina with her mother, feeling kind of twisted in his stomach. Worried. Helpless. Other stuff. He gives little growl and kicks at the turf before turning away from the hill.

Esha Rajal nodded at Jaina's response and instead moved away, over toward Taiyou as she pulled her PDA out of her own cargo pocket to tap out a message.

Deets Carroll watches Chrysannya look after Deb, knowing Black Star could help more than she could. "Take her to the garrison med bay. You can take better care of her there."

Jonathon Coage edges closer to the hill and looks down, watching from above as he stands silently next to Ro for a few moments before finally looking back at him. He softly shrugs his shoulders and says in a flat tone "So thats it, huh." he looks back down, crossing his arms over his chest once more before sighing at the sight of the carnage below "At least she won..." suddenly his PDA buzzes and he looks down at the message as he unclips it from his belt and perks a brow, talking to himself in a low tone "Not especially..." before tappingout those words on his PDA.

Chrysannya Newall nods "right you are" then looks up the hill and bellows in a surprisingly loud voice "WHERE TH FUCK IS THAT GODDAM STRETCHER?"

Remamian Takashi watched tres get dragged off by /random npc's/ and humphs amusidly at his inconsitancy for maturity and obvious cowardous. She turns back and looks around barking out lightly "Ok, lets get the major stable and back to base doubletime" she takes a few steps closer and looks down at chrys watching as she stayed rather quiet

Jaina Lefevre looks at Chrys and keeps the pressure, staying focused and learning fast. "Mom and I can stay with her, right?" she asks Chrys as she calls for the stretcher.

you've got a busted water main!

Took them all day (doubletime for holidays) but we've got water again. We missed seeing the geyser at 3:00 am, though.
