I'm already thinking about lunch today... what should I have?
It's weird. People from California love this place and those who visit always remember In & Out burger. Their menu is simple, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and fries. That's it. And they've been doing it a long time. This is the one near us. It used to be the old school one where you walked up and then ate outside on benches. Now it's a full on restaurant. Here it is LARGER
I think i'm going to print this one out and offer it to the manager... maybe I'll get a Double Double out of it. Perhaps a shake.
I have the 'urge'
Spring break is the most needed break I needed. I'm actually sleeping, doing things I like, and not being crippled by my anxiety.
There are really only two kinds of people in the world: those who see this and are repulsed, and those who see this and start salivating. Typically if you've had the good fortune to sample the west coast's finest pile of grease, cheese, and carnage you're in the former category.
If god crapped cheeseburgers, this is the closest approximation of how they would taste.

What is the thing a typical Canadian will do in the morning?
Get a Timmy on the way to work! That is our famous Tim Hortons coffee for the morning call!
I do not have coffee daily. But whenever I go to Tim Hortons, I will have a double double too i.e. double cream double sugar.
So how about a double sugar dressing for this morning? This is my frosty close up taken last weekend.

One of the best burgers you can get when you are in California are sold here at In-N-Out Burger. A basic menu with burgers, fries and shakes. Their icon burger is the Double-Double cheeseburger.
In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out Burger is a regional chain of fast food restaurants with locations in the Western United States. Founded in 1948 by Harry Snyder and his wife Esther, and headquartered in Irvine, California, In-N-Out Burger has since expanded outside Southern California to the rest of the state, and to Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. In-N-Out has never franchised, and plans to remain privately owned. There are currently 240 locations (as of November 2009) with no location more than one day's drive from the Irvine headquarters. The company's business practices have been noted for employee-centric personnel policies. Yes, I need 38 Double-Doubles to go for delivery back in Oregon. Please pack them with the sauce, lettuce and tomatoes in separate packs on the side and please place them in a box so that unsuspecting recipients will think they're getting some bland Krispy Kreme doughnuts, when they're really being treated to the classic In-N-Out burger. Unfortunately, the Baldwin Park-based business doesn't have any outlets farther north than Redding.
For years, I've been saying that Colorado is basically turning into East California, and here's further proof.
But unlike the increase in population, urban sprawl, bumper-to-bumper traffic, taxes, far left politics, and overly complex descriptions of getting from Point A to Point B (www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzZkaqBmH-s), not all California imports are invasively cancerous.
It was announced that In-N-Out would be expanding into Colorado about 2 years ago, and we're finally seeing the tangible evidence of that as the first restaurant is actually under construction. So, hopefully, by the end of 2020, a good thing will come out of this God-awful, sh*tty year and we'll get to enjoy some Double Doubles Animal Style here in the Pikes Peak Region! Well, that is until the woke mob cancels In-N-Out for putting Bible verses on the bottoms of their drink cups, burger wrappers, and french fry containers...
Can you think of a better way to end a day of shooting? After helping out the sister-in-law yesterday the family loaded up, stood in line (for only about 15 minutes), and downed some In-N-Out at the Allen, TX location.
Two things..
1) The experience was on-par with my experiences in Southern California. Great burger, great fries, great shakes, and great customer service. The distance from base camp did not diminish the experience as I had feared.
2) Animal Sytle might be the way to go from here on out.

every year at the end of our fiscal year at work, our company treats us to in-n-out. we get the truck to come out and we can pretty much eat as much as we want. this particular double double isn't the prettiest looking burger but it was tasty! my co-worker andre holds the unofficial record for our work for eating 6 double doubles... SIX! good lord... i was struggling to finish my second one. the only downside to having the in-n-out truck is that they don't make fries, all you get is a bag of chips. ah well... we still get free burgers!

Tim Hortons is a very large Donut chain (fast food & coffee) in Canada. Seeing the 4 patrol cars parked there seemed like a decent shot. :)
