A link back or a sample in the comments would be awesome!

Part of my 'patterns' collection.

This is a card I made recently using Vanessa Butterfly, Grid Pattern and Dots and Flowers. I love the new HA background stamps.

I think I put a butterfly on just about everything I make. lol

I got bored today, so I made a lightbox for future photos. It was easy to make, and I had all the supplies on hand

I ended up using 3 lights (there are only two in the pic)

As promised, a previously unplanned dressing session, starting with two new outfits.

The white cowl-neck sweater with gold trim is by Say What?, purchased just yesterday at Foreman Mills; the pink polka-dot stretch miniskirt is by No Boundaries, bought at Wal-Mart yesterday; the shoes are Lela Rose Unforgettable Moments "Nathalie" pumps, from Payless in April 2010. Other accessories are a pink bow, gold jewelry, pink and black belts, and natural hose. The padded panties provide a shapely ass.

final product of the sculpture i was making before.

Restructuring within the Oregon DOT that combines state highways in Columbia, Clatsop, Tillamook and rural western Washington counties in to a single maintenance district takes effect Oct. 3. The newly constituted District 1 is headquartered in Astoria, and is responsible for maintenance and operations, including emergency response.

The restructuring moves more than 500 miles of state highways in Columbia and rural western Washington counties from Region 1 in Portland to Region 2 in Salem.

...just playng in dot style...

An Oregon DOT incident response truck is a tall vehicle. This give you an idea of how much snow came down on Oregon highway 138 in the southern Oregon Cascades.

(1) City lights as seen by a nearsighted person without his glasses. (2) A world deprived of red and green. (3) Lights at a refueling dock, but in abstract. (4) Trying to get a night shot but pressing the shutter before you obtain focus.

Thought I would try another card in yellow and orange colors.

Think these colors are a bit difficult to work with. This is the result ! - one of my favourite owls with orange dots and buttons around.

Finally made a new outfit for Nancy....

Ours was one of four units that hosted open houses in our building this afternoon.

So of course we were busy this morning tidying up. One by one all the surfaces were cleared of books and other clutter, the printer and the scanner were put away, dishes were put out, etc.

Pretty soon little Dot's world was all topsy-turvy, so she found a spot to watch the goings-on from a safe distance.

This one had the smallest dots I've seen on this variable species.

Under Nicolae Ceausescu Blandiana's writings were banned after a "seditious" poem she wrote about the dictator: "Motanul Arpagic" (Tom Cat Onion)...

After 1990 she was active in the "Alianta Civica" which helped bring to the fore the first democratic government in Romania (1996-2000).

Below is one of Blandiana's ""engaged" poems about the status of women under communism:

“An entire people,

Not yet born,

But condemned to birth,

In columns before birth

Foetus beside foetus,

An entire people,

Which does not see, does not hear, does not understand,

But moves forward.

Through writhing bodies of women,

Through the blood of mothers

Unconsulted.”

(Ana Blandiana, The Children’s Crusade, 1984)
