Done for Doodle Schmoodle challenge.
Treacle the Dog insisted on helping me and then pouted when I included a bear instead of a dog in my picture.
Yes, I really am as thin as I drew myself and do not let Treacle's comments make you think otherwise.
Doodle Comp Winner @p3dro aka Mobilevirgin
Castle, Moon, Clothed, Dragon, Unicorn
Unicorn got chopped off a wee bit by the scanner and my horrendous framing, whoops, he/she is still there in reality :)
drawn at work, then colored in later with colored pencils. Drawn in between doing work on the computer, actually... I need a break from the computer creen sometimes, or if it's taking forever to load a page.
Shirt I printed up. Water based ink on a gildan shirt. Also have the doodle-zook logo on the back shoulder. Fun stuff.
Back from far too long away. I will keep these posts short and sweet. This is a recurring doodle of some daggers I like to draw absent mindedly.
Knives and guns are a favourite of mine and I will dig through my archives and re-post a lot of these artworks from the few years I've been ignoring my blog site.
My doodle posts are really ideas from my sketchbook. They might turn into anything, and more often they will fizzle out. But I intend to post pretty much anything I like in this category.
These seem like medieval daggers or fat swords. I am sure someone will have a correct name for them. I might make some more and see if it makes a nice selection on A4.
I've been working recently with Procreate on the iPad, so I might progress them there and see if a bit of colour brings some more inspiration
As simple as this piece is it means a lot to me. I'll explain why...
For the past year I've been extremely ill. I had a mystery diagnosis. No doctor knew what was wrong. Everything in my body was slowing down. I couldn't read, I couldn't draw, and I could barely stay awake.
I almost died.
Then, one day, I realized something: I am too stubborn to just lay down and die. Thankfully, my dad had done very complete research on what could this mystery diagnosis could be.
Turns out it is Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency. Yeah, it's a mouthful, but within a week of medication (tiny doses of steroids), I felt MUCH better. Now I can read again, cook, draw, and much more. I thank Jehovah for all the blessings he's given me. That's why I am pleased with this doodle, because I feel like a new me. :)
I hope to visit Patterson sometime in the summer...when I'm stronger physically.
idle doodling while on the phone at work . . .posted once but something happened and it turned into a little red x . . .
I inverted the colors of my Color Study and liked the results... this would make a cool design for fabric...
I'm doing the 30 Days of Doodles challenge along with Janel's 30 Day Journal Challenge.
Day 1 for the doodle challege: self portrait
Day 1 for the journal challenge: an introduction
The sushi restaurant in the inner harbor lets con nerds doodle on their sign every Otakon.
I drew Totoro.
Doodles started while watching a movie. I didn't get very much doodling done though; the movie was good!
My son Johnny is infatuated with penguins. So for Christmas his godmother bought him the Crayola Penguin Doodle. It's a little penguin that you stick a market in the bottom, adjust his fins according to a code and after a couple of minutes of the penguing waddling on the page you get a drawing. It's actually really cute.
Of course the first thing he would set it up to draw would be a penguin.
