A civics lesson she'll never learn in school.

This is a bothersome quote.

The Gadsden "Don't Tread On Me" Flag flies outside the warehouses of family-owned In-N-Out-Burger in Baldwin Park, California. The Snyder family is well known for their evangelical Christianity and proselytizing through bible verses under their soft drink cups, this flag reaffirms their right-wing politically conservative values. While their contributions to right-wing movements such as the Tea Party and the election of White Nationalism Fascist, Donald Trump remain unknown, it is something to consider when spending six dollars on a #1 combo meal.

Went to the local "tea Party" today. Lot's of very angry people, attend one and you't know this is a grass roots movement. Very peaceful - too bad ---- It'll be forgotten in days

An allegorical female figure representing America stands holding a staff in her proper right hand. She is classically draped in long robes and on her head she wears a laurel wreath. A flag with the words "Don't Tread on Me" hangs on her proper left side.

The sculpture was originally installed on a center island in Union Avenue, but was relocated to West Side Park in 1949 due to traffic concerns and increasing vandalism. In West Side Park, the sculpture was installed in the center of a large circular reflecting pool, but the pool was later drained. Vandalism continued in West Side Park, and in 1979, the sculpture was knocked to the ground in an unsuccessful attempt to steal it.

Nemo Me Impune Lacesset. No one attacks me with impunity. Roughly Latin for "Don't Tread on Me". Tattoo in honor of a fireman friend and others who lost their lives on 9/11. Got my tattoo from Tattoo Lou's in Huntington, NY.

The march, demonstration, etc, it seemed a little too festive for what is happening. I'm not saying I have an answer, but no one is going o pay attention until disobedience makes it news worthy.

I took liberties with an old design originally created by Benjamin Franklin [c. 1754] titled 'Join, Or Die' for an upcoming t-shirt/print show at Fugscreen Studios [July 8th].

"...'Join, or Die' is a well-known political cartoon, created by Ben Franklin and first published in his Pennsylvania Gazette in 1754. The original publication by the Gazette is the earliest known pictorial representation of colonial union produced by a British colonist in America. It is a woodcut showing a snake severed into eighths, with each segment labeled with the initials of a British American colony or region. New England was represented as one segment, rather than the four colonies it was at that time. In addition, Delaware and Georgia were omitted completely. Thus, it has 8 segments of snake rather than the traditional 13 colonies. The cartoon appeared along with Franklin's editorial about the "disunited state" of the colonies, and helped make his point about the importance of colonial unity. During that era, there was a superstition that a snake which had been cut into pieces would come back to life if the pieces were put together before sunset. It is also noted that the snake [a rattlesnake] was chosen because it is native to the America's & by nature, does not strike unless provoked..."

USS Constitution is a wooden-hulled, three-masted heavy frigate of the United States Navy. Named by President George Washington after the Constitution of the United States of America, she is the oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat in the world. Launched in 1797, the nickname of "Old Ironsides" and public adoration that has repeatedly saved her from scrapping.

I usually try to be very respectful of other people's beliefs and try to spread goodwill rather than negativity, but I'm fed up with the damned Tea Party, which represents all that I find wrong about the current state of American politics.

In the area where I live in Virginia, it is possible to get a license plate with this "Gadsen Flag" which is actually a Revolutionary War banner that has been co-opted and perverted into a symbol of the Tea Party. I am often dismayed by how many of these plates I see on the roads and often wish that there was a good counter symbol. After a brief internet search, I was unable to find many that that I really liked, so I made my own!

You have a right to believe what you want to believe in. I feel that you can believe in this Tea Party crap and still be a generally good person, so if this offends you, don't take it too personally, it just means we disagree on this one thing, I still love you, I just wish you'd understand why the policies you support are so destructive. That said, it's not my job to try and school you on the error of your ways.

My posting this is NOT an open invitation to a debate, it is just me expressing myself. Experience has taught me that there is no greater waste of time than trying to get into a political argument with someone on the internet. It's not that I am unable to defend my position with facts and reason, I can do a pretty good job of that actually, it's that I simply don't have the time for it, and I doubt I will convince you I'm right or you will convince me that you're right. So let's not even go there, okay?

A revolutionist is the short term word for 'freedom fighter', one who will fight for what is just and right! Whether they are fighting against tyranny or fighting against corruption its the same revolution. Yesterday's revolutionists were the sons of liberty who fought against the rule of King George the 3rd, today's revolutionists are the tea party activists fighting political corruption and economic thuggery. Revolution is always used as a last resort when all options have been suppressed by selfish rulership, the government rather call revolutionists 'terrorists or anarchists' so they don't have to feel guilty about oppressing the public. Revolutionists dress in a manner meant to intimidate political goons, a beanie to cover their head and brows, a surgical mask to cover their mouth and nose, a trench coat meant to conceal arms of revolution, bulletproof vest so they won't get hit by a shot, metal knuckled gloves for shattering punches against oppressors, utility belt to supply them on the battlefield with necessary tactical items, chaps for protecting their legs and steel toed boots for shattering kicks. This helps make the supreme rule take them seriously. Revolutionists don't need bullets when they get rubber ones and other non-killing arms to push their revolution forward. A warning to the socialists, you don't want to provoke this so heed the message of the tea parties and deliver what they demand.

Something about throwing dirt in the ocean. It was all so green, obedient and .... I don't know, maybe someone could suggest....
