After feeding a fish to the three chicks it's time for this adult Bald Eagle to move higher up in the nesting tree to stand guard.

Interestingly, if you zoom in, you can see the wing structure on the leading edges showing a natural geodesic spar construction for wing rigidity...clever stuff...nature.
I wish I could take credit for this set up but it was Skyline:) who had the idea and purchased the cute shopping trolley! I was looking for a shot to make me smile as it’s such a grey day, again, here today and came across this which brings back good memories of summer and the fun we had getting the squirrels to interact with the trolley. Hope it makes you smile too 😀
