The trip on Tuesday 19th Feb 2013 was with a Peak Experience group from the Ski Club of Great Britain with mountain guide Matthieu Desprat.
The trip started by riding the two stage Aiguille du Midi cable car, then a steep descent on foot of the exposed Aiguille du Midi arete, then finally the long ski descent of the Vallee Blanche via the Refuge du Requin all the way back to Chamonix.

...yet so far. High winds and polar temperatures forced us to abandon our summit attempt on Mont Blanc. Still, there's always next year...
Arrived at 3800m and overwhelmed with the first view of the Mont Blanc, Dôme du Goûter and Aiguille du Goûter.
Max, Dave and Chris on the Dome du Gouter following an unsuccessful summit attempt which was thwarted by 100kph winds. The Dôme du Goûter (4,304 m) is a mountain in the Mont Blanc massif. It is a shoulder of Mont Blanc, whose summit lies two kilometres to the south-east.
