I dye many samples of hair to find a necessary tint for the concept, that would also support the tones in face painting. For this doll it was crucial for me to get a natural red colour, not very vivid and bright one and medium in tone - not light and not too dark. To get an impression of natural red hair, not dyed. Hair of all the samples was white initially (Angora goat mohair).

Для этой куколки мне было важно добиться естественного рыжего цвета, не очень яркого и среднего по тону - не светлого и не слишком тёмного. Чтобы создавалось впечатление натуральных рыжих волос, не подкрашенных. Волосы всех пробников были изначально белого цвета (шерсть ангорской козы).

I finally got around to dressing up one of my Makies as Daenerys Targaryen (Khaleesi) from Game of Thrones. It is not perfect but she is my favorite character from the series! :)
