A previously unpublished shot captured in May 2017. Enjoy!

Far up in the mountains of Ryu, there is the dojo, Hépíng.

The mysterious residents of Hépíng are rumored to be some of the most fearsome fighters of the land.

Despite these rumors and falsehoods, the dojo's students diligently serve to protect the world against evil, and to administer peace and justice.

Thank you all so much for the advice and critiques! It really helped shape the build in unimaginably cool ways!

And this was the scene early in the morning, a couple weeks after I took the interior shots, taken from the same spot as the previous photo.

The Dojo - 2021 updated version

The Dojo is the traditional house of martial arts, where athletes go to train in many physical activities.

The build is made by approx. 2700-2800 pieces and features an interior area where matches take place, and an outside area where young boys train and meditate. Also a typical cherry tree grew up in the corner, and beneath its shadow athletes rest between matches. At the main entrance, statues of old champions inspire the new generations to give 100% and focus on becoming stronger.

What Minako wears while training in the dojo...

Greetings all! This was built for the Flag Your Kingdom Contest on Classic-Castle.

This build was quite fun to create, especially since I've never done anything oriental before. I was very pleased with how the small dojo turned out. Also, I don't think anyone has used the tile technique I used for the bridge (to create a smooth bridge). Credits for the water technique, however, go to Isaac S.

I wanted to build some dojo for a long time, and this time finally came.

First I want to mention that it's 100% LEGO, no other parts were used.

The most difficult part of the MOC is obviously the roof, its build only using hard lego parts. So no flex, no strings, no tape and so on. :P The shape of lower roof exceeded my expectations. It hold the shape and it's not falling apart. The top part is removable, and the roof tiles are holding the building extremely good.

You can move the front doors and they are without frame so take really small space.

Inside dojo is tatami which took forever to design, but it will not change for the world.

I will have to add some photos of the tree soon as it's also awesome and there is no nice photo of it......

Fun fact. The Lego designers came up with an alphabet code for the Ninjago movie, and the writing on this particular poster reads "Dojo Wu"

I Dareth YOU to join my dojo! ;)

A small module of a larger display my brother and I are working on. The stories split apart and both have interiors accessible by a hinge wall.

Tried to be as show accurate as possible, although the size of the interior shrunk a little. In fact, there seem to be some discrepancies in the show as regards the layout of the building, so I kinda just did what I felt like in some places. XD

As regards the second story, I took inspiration from what was on top of the dojo but cut it down to size a bit.

Ninjago fans will probably recognize the scene inside the dojo as the time when Dareth tries to break 50 some boards...

Check out the interior pictures! (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)

This shot is based on one the scenes where Morpheus trains Neo in a sparring program that is actually similar to the programmed reality of the Matrix.

In this computer simulated dojo Morpheus learns Neo that rules like gravity can be bent or broken...

The training in the computer simulated dojo continues as Neo is slowly starting to understand that he has to let it all go... fear, doubt and disbelief.

As Morpheus explains to him that he can only show him the door, Neo is the one who has to walk through it...

Hello everyone!!! Here another scene with Morpheus and Neo training in the computer simulated dojo...

I built this MOC for a Kendo warrior and I wound up with a zoomed in photo of the minifig and you barely saw the dojo.

But I like the dojo and I like this photo more than the one of the Kendo minifig.

These girls went to the same karate dojo that I went to in Tajima, Japan.

This Dojo is to small for both of us

This is an old MOC built for my 'HawkOwl' story line a few months back. flic.kr/p/pRFrze It's been sat on the shelf but it's time to be taken apart as it's using all my masonry bricks.
