"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." - Elliott Erwitt

Well, once again it was grocery day so time is a little cramped this evening. Luckily for me, I had this shot in mind and the weather was beautiful so I was able to shoot with relative ease. Not too shabby.
Nothing too exciting to report today, luckily there wasn't too much drama in the office today. It's been a while since the day just happened with ease and without arguments and such so I was happy to finally have a break. Now let's hope this keeps up for the rest of the week... or is that too much to ask?
Hope you've all had a fantastic day!

While watching the dvd of Alex Grey's Chapel of Sacred Mirrors last night I was given the gift of glitch. I do hope, though, that a good disk cleaning will let me view the whole movie. His work is very interesting and amazing. My titles are influenced by the "New Backwards" album by Coil. As big of a fan as I am of all of their material, this album may be my new favorite.

Gran Dio! Non posso!
This camera, with its glitches and horrendous image quality, is ideally suited for capturing my thoughts on the elliptical machine. It uses up half my living room. I bump into it on my way to the shower. And, stamp as I might, it just won't move. It looked so easy in the brochures!

Playing around with fill flash and a fisheye lens. I'm holding the flash in my right hand. (My wife took the photo.)
View over Jamison Valley towards the Three Sisters rock formation, from Eagle Hawk lookout, Katoomba.
Strobist: 580EX II with FEC -1, fired by ST-E2 remote. EC -1/3 to avoid blowing out highlights in the clouds. Flash held by subject in hand, about 1 metre from subject. :-)

When you're out of ankle socks you can either rumple down your hiking socks and pretend they don't look stupid when you're wearing shorts, or you can pull them up with pride and pretend you're a fashion leader.
I didn't take this picture, a webcam did. The #OfficeSlave I am, I spend the whole week in the fog and in the dark. If I swing myself on the saddle during the week, that beautiful sun is long gone. #DoingItWrong
I’ve always wondered what it would be like to roll around in a pile of money. This is more satisfying.
Seen at Past Times, an attempt at a Victorian game, in an old fashioned looking box ... but using Comic Sans which was created in 1994!

I confess to doing it wrong. I thought I'd dummy up my project while I was waiting for my Serial-enabled LCD to arrive. Was I in for a surprise. Of course, it didn't work with my Palm Vx and PalmOrb either.

I do like Michael's chosen slogan which subverts the "Doing it wrong" meme into a train-spotting theme. I did almost give him: "Ajax - you're spelling it completely wrong!"
