This is Doha, the capital of Qatar, located on the coast of the Persian Gulf.
The national animal of the desert State is the Arabian Oryx, an antelope with very long horns. It was declared extinct in the wild in the 1970s but due to international zoos and conservation projects, it now has a slowly increasing wild population living in Qatar and the surrounding countries and is not considered endangered in the wild anymore.
