Coming as we do from a country with very few high rise buildings the many skyscrapers in the Gulf region were a great novelty for us. Each of the cities we visited had plenty of them and many were not only spectacular but beautifully designed. These in Doha looked amazing on the skyline across from the old town!

In August, even after the sunset the temperature was still 40℃ and humidity was nearly 100%. It was not easy to control long exposure under such conditions but I am satisfied with the result.

A long exposure dusk panorama of Doha, Qatar compiled over 9 images! This was a little tricky to shoot as I didn't have all of my normal gear...including no l-bracket for vertical shooting. I made due with my camera rotated 90* on my ballhead. The right side of the image was noticeably darker and required additional tweaking in lightroom...simply due to the fact that over the course of 9 long exposures, the light had changed!
