Taken for the "Cotton" theme for Macro Mondays. This was a Christmas gift for Cosmo. He's pretty much destroyed this "durable" toy.
... looking close on friday ... curves ...
... recently recovered behind the couch (the things you find when your house gets painted haha), all my dogs played with it, as you might see ;) and now Jet can as well ...

“I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me, they are the role model for being alive.”

"Not really, this rope has a big loop in it and it's almost as long as me!!" Jasper is shown doing at the moment what he does best, showing that rope toy some of his major canine teeth.
(This will be the last photo of Jasper for a bit as he has some growing up and chewing to do!!)
Do our dogs count as children ? Yes of course they do ! This is Minnie's favourite toy, slightly bedraggled from being ragged every evening after her supper !
Poppy's squeaky toy monkey enjoys watching the sunrise through our very grubby patio doors, which created some nice bokeh---a good excuse not to wash them :D
Daisy has a lot of these chew proof vegetable shaped toys (that squeak) which she now reluctantly shares with Lily. The 'Broccoli' is Daisy's favourite, I have no idea why, but Daisy will play with it all day, making me throw it and her chasing it relentlessly and bringing it back for another throw.
Well, Lily has gotten older and now 2.4kg, (in July she was 900g) she's fast, spirited, cheeky and a puppy full of mischief. So, now Lily's whole life is about stealing the said 'Broccoli' from Daisy and running away with Daisy in pursuit. There are plenty of other toys, but, No! Lily wants Daisy's toy, quite funny to watch. We even bought a second 'Broccoli' literally identical and they will not play with it, its this particular 'Broccoli' in the image they want, the hilarious antics and adventures of this poor toy.
Anyway, I hope this funny image of Daisy chasing Lily for her toy makes you smile, have a great day.

Never Smile at a Crocodile.
Honey's newest toy\ which has survived three days so far.
#109/121 What are you afraid of:121 pictures in 2021"
Afraid Honey will probably destry this in weeks.
She loves her duck and banana treats and is obsessed with her blanket, but just uses Rudolph as a chin rest. LOL
SQL has about 7 or 8 rats (including the hedgehog which is an honorary rat). They squeak and he loves them and takes them on daily patrols around the house. They're years old - some have lost their eyes and some have had operations to mend tears but surprisingly they all still squeak - HSoS!
A very happy Easter holiday to you all!
Puppy Iron with his new Easter bunny. We have an understanding that if he got a new toy, he would stop digging holes!!
This has to be one og Honey's favourite toys. She has had it for as long as we've had her and it's still intact and squeaking.

Especially when you step on it during the night.
Earlier this year I was pet-sitting for five weeks. Here Nutmeg brings me her favorite toy, a squeaky ice cream cone!
One time as I was throwing it for her, I accidentally threw it onto the roof of the house ... where it stubbornly decided to remain! Nutmeg was quite upset! Eventually I managed to dislodge it by pointing a garden hose onto the roof.
Hershey watches me out of the corner of his eye as he tightly grips his Rope Toy. He's such a silly ass..lol
Bruno brought Captain Rexinton back to bed with him at the cabin. It was a rainy day so outdoor activities were limited, but he took the time to catch up on sleep and hang out with a friend. The big guy does love his stuffed toys, especially stuffed dinosaurs. He's currently recovering from a hot spot on his hip so swimming has been limited. But hopefully next week he'll be back in the water.
------ Edit ---- Apparently this toy is Captain Gatorton and not Rexington. There is surprisingly more overlap than I thought in the appearance of stuffed toy gators and t-rexes.
Photo taken for the "embossed" Macro Monday theme.
"Kong" makes really tough Dog Toys. They are great if you have a dog that destroys most toys.
Fred with his stretchy tug carrot toy on the deck. Like a rope toy - but way more fun IFNSHO (In Fred's Not-So-Humble Opinion). Love his puppy-like snout in this shot.
I tried two other ideas for this Smile on Saturday upside-down challenge, and while they were better photos in their own way, I don’t think they’d make anyone actually smile… THIS nut, on the other hand…
Looks like it! Or just hoping my dog won't spot him again!
Keep safe everyone.

I find it hard to describe this capture. In fact it is my dog's squeaky toy standing on the wood burner next to the kettle within the fireplace. However I love the light on the bare bricks, the reflection on the kettle and the oddity of the toy pig on a wood burner. Photography is about so much more than the objects in front of you.
Everyone here on the farm is wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving!
if you're traveling, be safe peeps! xoxo
