Rex, a Jack Russell Dog I have been looking after for several years now via Trusted House Sitters. An afternoon stroll in Highgate woods in Crouch End close to his home. With the help of a few dog treats he remained still for a few seconds... Taken with the Canon 5D4 and the Canon EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM at 16mm.

I do occasionally use lenses other than my favourite Canon 50mm 1.4! Canon's wide angle EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM is another great lens. I love using it for nature and pet photography, getting up-close and fully wide at 16mm to create some interesting compositions. The focus with the lens is also very good. Here is Cosmo, the Red Lab exploring some cut down trees in fields in Tyttenhanger in St Albans.
