Millie and I are having a lazy day today (hers being more lazy than mine, naturally). She really doesn't love being dressed up, but my innate girliness just begs me to do precious dress-up sessions with her. ;P
She's wearing pearls, too, but she insisted on sitting directly on the humongous strand, rather than letting them show for the picture. I forgave her after this adorable pouty shot, though!

Yes, by all (most) measures it is way too early for Christmas themed images, but... I started photographing the neighborhood dogs in my "studio" (aka corner of the garage) and I kind of love it. More dogs to come!
We got some snow again and the temperatures dropped drastically, so it was time to bring out the boots!
Funny fact, Leeloo does not really like walking when it's wet (you probably noticed with the pic of a few weeks back)! But, she's one of the few who seems to love wearing boots and once she has them on, she strutts and even puts on a sprint at times, it's so funny to watch! She really has come a long way from the very shy girl she was still not so long ago.
This is not far from where we live, in the East River park by the Williamsburg bridge. We love it because it's almost deserted during the week.

This was great fun! We had Sunday dinner and then everyone put on their stripey socks and gathered 'round the stripy socky circle. I took a bunch of shots in various configurations and then proceded to delete them trying to upload them onto the computer - DANG IT! Take 2 - gather the family up, gather 'round the stripey socky circle and take a bunch more. This time we were much more efficient and were able to finish the shoot in mere minutes!
Oh yeah, then we had treats! Yum.

We watched a friend's dog over the weekend, a sweet Border Terrier named Daisy. At first there was tension, but by Sunday morning, they had formed a biker gang, taken over the whole house and then threatened to rumble with other dog gangs.
I live in fear.

Especially if they're going Trick-Or-Treating!!
Our gimped-up Chihuahua, Rickets...this is my favorite dog sweater for her because of the cute little hearts...aaawwwwww! :-D

I didn't have much of a theme this year, so for the individual "outtake" cards, I just used Supernatural quotes. Rennie = Bobby, because BALLS.
just found these pics i took in 1986 of my old dog. and um i am 20 years older now and i still have the urge to dress my dogs in people clothes. WTF?
This cute Pup is made with stoneware clay, hand formed with love, and wants to be adopted by the right family. She has many detailed aspects including several coats of glaze, a Striped pants, suspenders and top hat with an added flower to add to his whimsical style.
As with all my creations, this is a handmade, one-of-a-kind sculpture only found at Animal Instincts Art that can be copied, but not duplicated.
