Susie Manning is the founder and president of the board of Dogpatch Ranch. Susie is passionate about animals, and relentless as a rescuer of stray, neglected and abused animals. Susie has worked in the medical industry for over 30 years, serving the operating room of major hospital complexes in soutnern California and now in the southeast. Her background as a Supply Chain Manager has served Dogpatch Ranch well, as her expertise in all phases of medical and other equipment acquisition, organization, storage and dispensation is key to the high quality of service provided at the sanctuary. She is also the Dogpatch Ranch CRO or "chief rescue operator", a role she relishes.

Dogpatch, San Francisco

This used to be a building I explored around. It was really cool, had a buncha weird Magnolia trees in the courtyard and a dripping water pipe you could wash your hands in. There was even a little space between buildings that someone had set up a pretty sweet little temporary residence in. I never did get in the building itself. Now I never will.
