amigos tengan ustedes un buen comienzo de semana!!
gracias por sus comentarios & invitacione!
abrazos!!!!!
Letting Jimmy Dean have one "Controlled" kiss of hello - If I let him go he will not stop licking until my face is raw.
I had a totally other idea for this week's picture, but of course, it was a disaster since it was taking place outdoors... I had spotted a cool mural that was in a nook, so safe for Cookie. But to my surprise, there was an outdoor terrace right in front of it and people kept throwing 'aaahhhs, awwws', which was kind but actually stressed him out even more... I had to laugh when a lady asked if he was an 'influencer'!
Anyway, at first, I thought he did good since he actually stayed and posed, but when I saw the pics on my PC, it was no use, he had eyes bugling out of his head the entire time, even when he chewed a treat... And I was so busy focusing with my old manual lens and trying to hurry so that he would not freak out too much, I didn't really make sure I had a decent shot... Maybe next time!
So there you go, him safe in his bubble, getting some comfort from Maya after this terrible outing :P.

Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.
Handed no# 1 wife the camera so
Mama could crawl onto my lap...;-)
Long day. No# 1 wife and I took
Legs The Zoomer into the dog
doctors clinic.Things went pretty
good with a couple of hick-ups.
Tomorrow Thailand starts in on
celebrating "Songkran."
Thai New Year's national holiday.
The dog clinic will be closed until
April 16. The Zoomer will return on
the morning of the 16th for a ck-up.
Had to make an executive decision.
Wait until after Songkran is over to
start fixing The Zoomer or start now
and keep a close eye on her for a
number of days at the nuns place.
As CEO of Abandoned Abused Street Dogs
I told them to start now and she'll be watched
over by the nuns and myself then returned on
the morning of the 16th for a ck up, easy deal.
Dead meat was trimmed off around the open
hole in her belly close to her belly-button.
Then noninvasive probing took place
where a lump was located close by.
X'ray reveled some swelling and
bruising but no actual tearing.
She's rapped, strapped and
stitched for the moment .
I feel comfortable with
that decision ........;-)
While no# 1 and I were waiting at the clinic
they came out with a thick folder and started
naming off all the dogs they have seen over
the last 7 years that I've brought in to be saved.
The ones no longer with us were culled from the
file and laughed at the new addition, "Baby Mickey."
So there ya go.
Songkran is considered the most
deadly 7 days on all the Thai roads !
Tomorrow I stay home and off the roads.
But Saturday I will be making a run out to
The Monkey Temple for the monthly meds.
And yes of course The Zoomer will be ck on.
From all the temple dogs, Thank You .........;-)
Thank You.

Back Story .........................................
Rain and wind had stopped before I left.
Daybreak was still an hour away as the
scooter made it's way down the road.
Ms Mama, BTP and Little Freckles were all
waiting for me at the head of the driveway.
After the first phase of feeding was over we
took off. Numerous food bags were stashed
in my cargo pockets as well as in the cloth bag
that carried special items for the nuns.
A small container with antibiotic cream is in my
pocket with extra q-tips too.
All the dogs were cared for and are doing fine.
Thursday and Friday I was on the road in heavy
rain an wind. Had a meeting with immigration's
in a town a very long ways away, 3 hr each way !
Didn't want to go today, but I did. Next is breakfast
then a long nap. Tomorrow I stay home and rest up.
Thank you for your comments and donations.

Photo No# 1 of 2.
Back Story .........................................
Arrived just as daybreak came across the horizon.
Rocky, Mama and BTP were all taken care of.
Cloth bag was filled up with special feed bags
for all the monkey temple dogs.
Legs the Zoomer, Rocky and Mama spent quality
time at the spirit house eating their second meal.
When at The Leroy Crews Turf The Hooligans
were also cared for. The Head Monk wanted
to play with my camera again so here we go.
Out of a dozen photos this is the only one
in focus. It was big fun and he seems to enjoy
the event. Boo Boo is sticking his tongue into
my ear as 2-Tone is, well, being 2-Tone.
Rocky was taken to the dog doctors for his
yearly inoculations.
Tomorrow Little Stubby and Tinker Bell go
in for the same same injections.
There's a chance I'll have help tomorrow.
In a few more days Legs and Pumpkin will
also do the same same.
This is a very busy time with the temple dogs.
Wednesday will be the only day of rest ........ ;-)
Thank You.

I caught my wife with another man in her arms giving her a kiss. (the photographer is very okay with this) Meet Mac Duff, our dog. He was left behind when his previous owners left the state and moved south. He was in a garage and our youngest son was feeding him and told us about him. My wife went over and seen him, hair all matted together and stinking very badly. She took him to a groomer and had his hair cut and washed and we now have a beautiful handsome dog that craves our attention.

Going on a Dog Sled ride is a must do when visiting Alaska during the winter! Jurgen was an awesome guide and the dogs were friendly and amazing! Jurgen has a great bond with his dogs and it was unique 2 hour experience sledding around the Arctic. The sun was coming down over the frozen Koyukuk River and we were taking little break I had to get a shot with of Jurgen and his dog crew!
My dog-loving daughter came to help out today during our weekly shelter photography time. Most of the dogs we saw were more interested in the smells around the yard, but this lovely lady Hannah took time to give kisses.
Shelby and Chase the Dalmation locked in a passionate embrace, while Ricco (Shelby's main boyfriend) watches in the background.
52 weeks challenge: Sharing
Tell me about sharing! Living with my mates and the rescues, I have to share everything. Share the beds, share the food (well, I steal what the toothless rescues spill over their bowls, hehee), share the walks, well you got it. I even have to share the love & attention of my mum and don't say a word (most of the time), how cool am I??
(outtake from today's assignment, taken while waiting for the puppy delivery to arrive.)

This is an older photo, but it went with a quote I came across and liked. We met a family in the park, this little girl came over to hug Jimmy Dean and before we knew it he had her one her back and pinned down, stand on her chest. He soaked her entire face. Her Mother and Siblings could not stop laughing.
The quote was anonymous.
