Balade dans le Sancerrois cet après midi, j'ai bien aimé ce paysage.
A re-creation of an impressionism painting by Renoir using Midjourney AI V5.1
Prompt: “ a painting by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, ‘Doge's Palace in Venice’, impressionism, paint on canvas, energizing vitality with depth and balance, heavy use of brushes and palette knives, detailed, abstract impressionism, textured paint, one-of-a-kind, masterpiece, 3D paint on canvas, sharp focus, wide angle view, --v 5.1 --ar 18:9 --no frame, border, text, caption, signature “
Post-processing was primarily done with GIMP with G’MIC filters. First, I created a “Paint with Brush” layer and a “Gradient Sharpening” layer using the AI image. These new layers were blended into the original AI image. I then processed that compilation with the “Brushify” filter using a custom brush to embed the fine texturing. This resulting image was then processed with the “Texture Enhance” filter and another light “Gradient Sharpening” pass.
Going back to images from my recent trip to Italy, this is a desk located inside Doge's palace in Venice. Its position in the room, heavy shadows, and lines created by the wood beams and floor planks really caught my eye. It was a very interesting tour.
The Doge's Palace is a palace built in Venetian Gothic style, and one of the main landmarks of the city of Venice in northern Italy. The palace was the residence of the Doge of Venice, the supreme authority of the former Venetian Republic, opening as a museum in 1923.

St. Mark's Square in Venice, Italy.
Venice, the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. It has no roads, just canals – including the Grand Canal thoroughfare – lined with Renaissance and Gothic palaces. The central square, Piazza San Marco, contains St. Mark’s Basilica, which is tiled with Byzantine mosaics, and the Campanile bell tower offering views of the city’s red roofs.
J'aime beaucoup la sérénité de ces paysages, la vraie vie...loin du bruit et encore plus du "bing bling"
