It may not look like it, but she loves her daddy! And he loves her back.
Long story short, my hubby was never into small dogs, let alone rescue dogs with issues. But over time, seeing all these broken dogs I brought home getting a new spark and being so grateful, has made him smitten. And well, I did not give him much choice anyway :P.
Nope, even after many years of smooth cohabitation, Cookie is still not at ease with his father... Well, at least he didn't try to bite him this time ;).
Bernie has come a long way but still has unfathomable reactions that make us go "why Bern, why?" This was exactly that moment here, and his daddy was trying to get in sync with his brain... not properly wired, but that's also why we love that weirdo. But let's just say he found his family :P.
We took Bernie with us on holiday and surprisingly, he did good! His daddy had to carry him quite a bit (that was the deal, he wanted to take him instead of any other of our crew because he's his favorite), and apart from a few issues here and there - he's still a weirdo after all - it was quite a fun adventure and seeing him so happy made it all so worth it.

We are traveling and not taking Prozac with us this time... So this was a way of apologizing ;). Doesn't it look like he knew?!
Spotted a T-Shirt at a local festival with this logo and couldn't resist.
The original silhouette had both the dogs ears up, but since Sully has only one that goes up, I doctored it a bit! LOL!
So I told the hubby "hey, let's try the same pic as we did with Tonkatsu last week", since Tsingtao was looking sweet at him (shall I precise we were in the kitchen and she is quite a fine gourmet and knows he is the chef).
But, er, once I put her into his arms, I got that look of "how could you do this to meee?!" Human trusting still in progress.... Mom is so far the only one she loves.
