Looking east from Crone Wood, Glencree, towards "The Great Sugarloaf" and beyond to the Irish sea.
This granite mountain is quite small at 501m but because of its isolation it appears much bigger. It is my favourite mountain and I live in the valley to the east of it. I see it every day as it is visible from my home so Im very lucky.
My Dad used to carry me up it as a child before I could even walk so that probably explains "the madness!".
In a way, hes still carrying me in his arms up my mountains and I like that.

Its becoming very slow on this site recently and plastic manafactured images are taking over. Im question1ng if its really worth the effort anymore as it takes an age now to get 100 faves which is what I try to get before putting up another image.I have so many photos to put up. About 200 and it doesnt look like its ever going to happen. Perhaps the quality of my photos arnt good enough anymore.
Between all that and rude offensive administrators of some of the groups here of which I have had 2 in the last month. I dont do offensive. People with any type of artistic leanings dont. Obviously the rude ones on here dont fall into that category as Ive seen there efforts. Asks the question why they are here in the first place! Certainly not worth paying for anymore.

Before you scroll away from this feisty beauty, be assured that this is no ordinary cat. This is a Scottish Wildcat (aka the Highland Tiger!) and this shot was taken mid hiss. This breed of cat is absolutely feral and doesnt tolerate patting, stroking or general nearness to him. He's called McTavish and whilst I respectfully keep my distance, I admire him from afar...

October 💀...Dark and horrifying pictures are taking over and asking for the darkest imagination, our most sinister fantasies and even the madness. If it's about a murder scene , a spooky graveyard or just that most scary look you've got...it doesnt matter. For me it's always Halloween and maybe not cause I love the dark atmosphere but working on my Creeps is a very relaxing thing. It's always asking me some time to work on the details of it but I take my time , put on some music and work on it nice and easy.
Of course are creators on SL working hard this month for the horrifying items and I cant keep up with all the things I've bought! So I all ready know that I'll be creating more darkness even if Halloween has passed. 👻

Todays challenge on www.photochallenge.org/ was "The Photographer" which I thought was cool, could get a shot of someone taken a photo but reading further it had to be a self portrait, Ok, No problem could take one with A reflection of me distorted enough so I am not recognizable, but then read further and had to be a head shot, so Hope this doesnt give anyone nightmares, but here I am, thought i would get the shot with me by a Map since I have traveled so much
Do not expect to see many or any more shots with me in them, I am much happier behind the camera

What girl doesnt love her Trolly Dolly. This is an exact replica of the one I had growing up. LOVE IT.
For those of my friends that hang out with me in SL, you would know that sometimes i wear this Troll doll for days at a time. For some weird reason and in a way that i cant explain it gives me comfort. Its almost like taking myself back to a time before the reality of a world of pain became known to me.

My two elsest children in total shock and although we had been divorced ,longer than we were married , a complete shock to me as we remained amicable friends throughout .
The funeral is next monday in Teignmouth where he lived .
I havent been able to do much at the moment ,as Im having surgery for my sudden development of cataracts .
Im hoping this picture of my lillies from the summer is ok blurry vision doesnt help !

It doesnt always matter how fast you get where you are going, but sometimes just that you get there...spent a long mornnig hiking to the top of the High Shoals Falls - took about twice as long as usual due to an injured leg, but still made it, and glad I did.
