IX Encontro Nacional de Companhia de Reis
Esse senhor estava perdido nas memórias em sua observação da folia se apresentando. Pude conversar com ele antes e o mesmo me explicara que as folias eram a alegria das crianças de antigamente, pelo menos em sua cidade, e ao contrário do que eu imaginava ele me disse que antigamente as folias eram mais raras, porque era mais difícil o deslocamento.
Ele vê a folia parado, quase imóvel. O que se passa na mente desse observador?

Parte de una manada bastante grande que vive en el ECAS, una estación de investigación de animales silvestres que está cerca de La Plata. Pertenecen a la fauna local.
Los carpinchos parecen haber perfeccionado el arte de no hacer nada. Pero como a veces pastan de noche, me imagino que bien pueden dormirse de día.

É a semente da castanheira-do-pará (Bertholletia excelsa) uma árvore da família botânica Lecythidaceae e nativa da Floresta Amazônica. É um fruto com alto teor calórico e protéico, além disso contém o elemento selênio que combate os radicais livres e muitos estudos o recomendam para a prevenção do câncer (cancro ou tumor).
É altamente consumida pela população local in natura, torrada, ou na forma de farinhas, doces e sorvetes. Sua casca é muito resistente e requer grande esforço para ser extraída manualmente.

This statue is probably a nymph - she was found in Piraeus and dates to the third century B.C.
British museum was founded in 1753, much due to the will of Sir Hans Sloane, who in his lifetime had made an extensive collection of curiosities - as was a habit of the 18th century if you were a well-educated man. This first part of the museum consisted of some 71 000 objects - being everything from natural specimens, prints by Albrecht Dürer and objects from long lost civilisations.
At first the museum was situated at Montague House, but it soon became too crowded there with a whole series of further donations, including the Rosetta Stone and other artifacts from ancient times. In the 19th century the museum was much expanded to house all these objects and to be able to show them to the public. In 1895 the museum bought the 69 houses surrounding the museum, demolished them and expanded the museum.
The natural history collection does not live in the museum now, and the books and manuscript are now held by the British Library - the main focus of the museum now being on cultural history, historical and more modern. It has now a collection of several million objects, covering 54,600 m2 and separated into 94 galleries.

Common Mynas are medium-sized passerines with strong feet. Their flight is strong and direct, and they are gregarious. Their preferred habitat is fairly open country, and they eat insects and fruit. Several species live around habitation, and are effectively omnivores.
