Ou começo? Ushuaia é uma cidade linda que mal conheci. Ficamos cerca de oito horas ancorados por lá, dia 3 de janeiro. Eu, ainda sem folego por causa dos 4 dias antárticos, visualmente espetaculares, caí nesta maravilha patagônica num dia esplendido onde apenas consegui dar uma navegadinha pelo Beagle ali pertinho e passear um pouco na cidade. Voltarei, Ushuaia é papo pra, no minimo 4 a 5 dias de grandes passeios. Este aí é o famoso "Farol do Fim do Mundo", que inspirou até livro do Julio Verne. Dei sorte com o céu. E agradeço sempre agradecerei a uma santa humilde e gloriosa, a amada 17-40 L, pau pra toda obra, lente irmã, que já segurou junto comigo neves antárticas e calores sertanejos com a mesma coragem e valor... Sei que a 16-35, sua irmã mais nobre, é ainda mais precisa, mas eu mato e morro por essa lentinha maravilhosa que, junto com minha valente e frágilmente preciosa Sigma 70-200 me ajudaram a superar minhas limitações e guardar de um modo mais decente um pouco das emoções fotográficas desta viagem, tantas e tão intensas que ainda vou demorar muito tempo pra digerir, trabalhar e mostrar... Aguardem e tenham paciência. (E olha que ainda vem a Bahia por aí, daqui a uns dias... E o site está começando a ser erguido, em 2011 sai.)
No mais, muitas saudades de todos, acabei de renovar meu Flickr por mais um ano, o que significa que sigo tendo por este espaço e por meus amigos daqui o mais profundo carinho, respeito e saudade... Posso até andar meio sumido mas o coração segue presente. Sempre e para sempre. Isto aqui é um relicário de fotógrafos e pessoas geniais, não dá pra ficar longe muito tempo. Que os deuses da Imagem nos abençoem a todos. Axé.
I knew nothing about watches back in 2015 when I purchased this watch on Amazon. I liked the transparent area on this watch with it inexpensive quartz movement connected to the crown stem. I never wore it much but I did like the creative aspect of it. This watch is deep in the 5th drawer of my collection but I think it is still cool. So, I had some time this afternoon and I thought I would do some shots and see how it looked on camera...I did wipe it down but it looks pretty crusty at macro distance.

That was annoying! This set of photos didn't come out to great for some reason the levels were all over the place so not many good ones to chose from.

I think a little back story is going to be needed for these next few photos.
As you know this is a small world we live on and that has been proved to me time and again even on here. As you might rememebr from a good few yerars ago I wrote about a tran man who lives in our village and said that he was the sister/brother of my wifes friend. Well time moved on and she became he and i became me.
Last Saturday evening i took my wife to a robbie williams tribute act that the girls i dance with invited us to. i was in guy mode and it turned out lucky i was, beacuse as we entered my wife got stopped by an older lady who recognised her. The woman was the mother of the trans man and my wifes friend, not only that the womans genetic son is my parents neighbour and she is staying with him for a few days. OMG could this have turned out even worse?
Well actually yes, Turned out the lady had joined the dance classes i go. At this point I just gave up with life.
A área das Cataratas do Iguaçu (em espanhol, Cataratas del Iguazú) são um conjunto majestoso de cerca de 275 quedas de água no Rio Iguaçu (na Bacia hidrográfica do rio Paraná), localizam entre o Parque Nacional do Iguaçu, Paraná, no Brasil, e no Parque Nacional Iguazú, Misiones, na Argentina. A área total de ambos parques nacionais, correspondem a 250 mil hectares de floresta subtropical e declarada como Patrimônio Natural da Humanidade.
O Parque Nacional argentino foi criado em 1934; e o Parque Nacional brasileiro, em 1939, com o propósito de administrar e proteger o manancial de água que representa essa catarata e o conjunto do meio ambiente ao seu redor. Os parques tanto brasileiro como argentino passaram a ser considerados Patrimônio da Humanidade em 1984 e 1986, respectivamente. Desde 2002 o Parque Nacional do Iguaçu é um dos sítios geológicos brasileiros.
Historicamente, o primeiro europeu a achar as Cataratas do Iguaçu foi o espanhol, Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca, no ano de 1542.
As Cataratas do Iguaçu estão participando da campanha mundial de escolha das Sete Novas Maravilhas da Natureza, organizada pela Fundação New 7 Wonders,ela esta entre as 28 finalista da campanha, que deve durar até 2011 quando deve ser atingido o número de 1 bilhão de votos,além das Cataratas do Iguaçu a Amazônia é outra concorrente brasileira que busca ser uma das Sete Novas Maravilhas da Natureza.Pela internet é possível votar através da pagina oficial da Fundação New 7 Wonders

Las cataratas del Iguazú se encuentran cerca de la triple frontera Argentina, Paraguay y Brasil (del idioma guaraní: Yguasu (agua grande), en portugués: cataratas do Iguaçu) son las cataratas localizadas en la provincia de Misiones, en el Parque Nacional Iguazú, Argentina y en el Parque Nacional do Iguaçu del estado de Paraná, Brasil. Su nombre proviene de dos palabras: la palabra «y» (similar a la /ü/ del alemán o la /u/ del francés, producida por contracción de la garganta) y la palabra «guasu» (léase guasu), que en lengua guaraní quieren decir «agua» y «grande», respectivamente.
Están formadas por 275 saltos de hasta 80 m de altura, alimentados por el caudal del río Iguazú. Se pueden realizar paseos en lancha bajo los saltos y caminatas por senderos apreciando algunos animales de la selva subtropical. La «Garganta del Diablo» (el salto mayor, que consta de 80 m) es un espectáculo aparte que, saliendo desde Puerto Canoas, se puede disfrutar en toda su majestuosidad a tan sólo 50 m de distancia.

The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu.
