For MacroMondays theme “Generosity”
This is a quite direct approach for this weeks theme, but unfortunately money is needed in order to help people whose lives have been devastated by natural disasters, wars and poverty. One doesn't have to give huge sums of money, even pennies or cents help.

Desde quando me mudei que tento tirar uma foto da Igreja do Bonfim, porém tem uns fios/cabos do demo que ficam na frente, sabe? AHSUAHUSHSUAHA Dai fiz malabarismo para conseguir essa foto e ainda tive que editar bastante para tentar manter a qualidade (o que não gosto n.n'), fora esse pedaço de fio passando ali por cima, né, só para me deixar irritada, mas enfim ela está aí, eu gostei bastante e eu espero muito que vocês também gostem :D

Because I've hardly picked up my camera in days, I've been going through my archives looking for forgotten or overlooked "good ones". I'm not promising to start another 365 project in January, but I really do need to spend some more time with my camera. I have two more images that need to be shot for the 114 Pictures in 2014 project so I know I will shoot those, but I really do want to get out more and practice what I love doing.
Shisen-dō (詩仙堂) is a Buddhist temple of the Sōtō Zen sect in Sakyō-ku, Kyoto, Japan. It is registered as a historic site of Japan. It stands on the grounds of its founder, the Edo period intellectual Ishikawa Jōzan (1583–1672), who established the temple in 1641.
A room in the main temple displays portraits of thirty-six Chinese poets. The selection of the poets was based on the opinion of Hayashi Razan. The portraits were executed by Kanō Tan'yū. This and some other parts of the building date to the time of Ishikawa Jōzan.
The temple's gardens are considered masterworks of Japanese gardens.[1] One of them includes a device called a sōzu, a type of shishi-odoshi designed to scare away wild animals such as deer by making a loud noise. Water trickles into a bamboo tube, and when it reaches a certain level, it upsets the balance of the tube. The tube tips over on a pivot, discharging the water, and turns upright, striking a rock and emitting a loud clapping noise.
Matadeiro é uma praia localizada no sul da Ilha de Santa Catarina, em Florianópolis. É voltada para o Oceano Atlântico e separada da praia da Armação por um rio de água salobra. O mar gelado com ondas de medianas a grandes, de boa formação, atraem surfistas. Do final da praia, sai uma das trilhas para a praia da Lagoinha do Leste.
O nome Matadeiro é muito antigo, provém da época em que era permitido caçar baleias.
Os pescadores montavam suas armadilhas na Armação e as matavam no Matadeiro, daí o nome das duas praias. Localizada entre as praias da Armação e Lagoinha do Leste, a praia do Matadeiro é relativamente tranquila, com acesso somente a pé, cerca de 200 metros, depois de atravessar o rio que vem da Lagoa do Peri.
O caminho pitoresco e agreste atrai muitos turistas durante o verão, especialmente surfistas que fogem do agito das praias tradicionais em busca de boas ondas e areia calma.
Inacessível para carros, a praia ainda conserva seus morros cobertos pela mata nativa. É um convite para os apreciadores da natureza.

Praia do Matadeiro est une plage et une localité de la municipalité de Florianópolis, au Brésil. Elle se situe au sud-est de l'île de Santa Catarina, entre deux pointes rocheuses, dans la prolongation de la praia da Armação.
Tout comme cette dernière, elle a connu une forte activité par le passé, liée à la chasse à la baleine. La praia do Matadeiro était le lieu de l'abattage et du découpage des animaux, dont les morceaux était ensuite amenés à la praia da Armação pour en extraire l'huile. Il ne reste aucun vestige de cette activité.
La plage est peu fréquentée par les touristes et ne possède pas d'infrastructure touristique à proprement parler.
