Doctors Without Borders put on an exhibit called "Refugee Camp in the Heart of the City" @ Balboa Park, San Diego. This is the entrace + my niece, who is something like a uterine refugee.

I love the colors in this confetti glass. I used almost all of it for this piece and adding Smalti around the edges inside the mirror is a favorite thing for me to do. I am truly enjoying making this one. I think I get the most pleasure out of working on donation pieces. Life is good!
Malnourished children are given a carbohydrate and vitamin laden goop called Plumpynut, to help get them to a healthy weight. I don't really know why they have a doll in tin foil next to some cups and saucers, though.
