I managed to take another shot of the same bug :)

--

Coreus marginatus, commonly called the dock bug, is a species of squash bug. It is a speckled brown insect with a broad abdomen, and is common in most parts of Europe. It is often found in dense vegetation, such as hedgerows and wasteland, where it mainly feeds on the leaves and seeds of docks and sorrels. When touched, a brown liquid is excreted that smells very bad and is very difficult to remove.

The sun was out so I visited a place I have been wanting to explore for many years, the graving docks in Govan.

Its a real shame that this piece of Glasgows industrial heritage has been left to decay but at least its not been filled in for flats or a horrible museum building.

If you chose to explore the site then please be VERY careful. There are open pits, rusted handrails and rotten wood on the bridges so be warned.

Old abandoned ore dock in Marquette, Michigan's lower harbor.

This dock is on the way to one of the camps I work with. Since I just got a new polarizing filter, I thought I'd stop and give it a try.

My oldest son posing with two members of the M/V Algosteel while docked in South Chicago. We assisted the cook with running an errand on the "east side". The boys were kind enough to invite us aboard for a spell. I hope they're all happily retired now in Newfoundland. August 09, 2003.

The Docking Ring/Airlock on this build had to be built at a certain sizes in order to allow the boarding ramp on this build to open and close.

The Boarding ramp actually has a mechanism built into that was originally in the 2004 Millennium Falcon set. You pull the Airlock above the ramp out and the ramp would lower.
