In the spirit of Slider Sunday, a low resolution grab from my dji spark video. The wind was a little strong so I had to land quickly and didn't get everything I wanted.
According to legend, once the Devil roamed the Palatinate Forest. As he couldn’t find a place for a rest, he grabbed huge rocks and formed them to a giant table.
In 1872, the Caldwell brothers walked from here, over Brush Mountain to the right, and down into Blacksburg to enroll in Virginia Tech. The Cadets reenact the hike every year to honor the brothers (and walk past my house!)
