Had a bit of Springtime fun with this falls and the drone!

Just noticed from last summer's drone shot over Taughannock Falls that it looks a lot like a heart. Fitting for the NY Motto!

We love hiking here. Picture a giant glacier coursing through this valley making the moraine hills on the sides which rise up over 500' from the valley floor. Many of the lakes are the result of massive chunks of ice breaking off and getting covered with earth which insulates them. Some ice can exist this way for thousands of years. Labrador Pond is a relatively large but shallow (4-6') relic of this time period, a mere 12,000 years ago.

Out here cruising to a backroad song

I feel the wheels like a melody

Like a radio dialing in strong

C'mon, c'mon sing along, sing along

To my backroad song

Another drone shot looking towards the winter sunset along the Seneca River. This particular area in Central New York has some of the earliest evidence of human occupation in the state - most likely the result of the first bands of human wanderers following the river and lakes across the wild landscape. Happy Friday!
