Das hat mich dazu veranlasst, meine Kamera zu packen, die Schneeschuhe abzustauben und mich ins Auto zu setzen.
Während es bei meiner Abfahrt in Mauthausen noch 2 Grad plus und keinen Schnee hatte, befand ich mich nach ungefähr einer Stunde Fahrt bei aufgehender Sonne in einer traumhaften Winterlandschaft. Am besten aber, ihr seht selbst...
Verwendet wurden dabei meine Nikon D750 mit dem 20mm f1,8, für die meisten Filmaufnahmen meine kleine Canon G7x und zum ersten mal mit dabei, aber nur sehr wenig im Einsatz (verdammter Wind) meine neue und erste Drohne die DJI Spark.

In the spirit of Slider Sunday, a low resolution grab from my dji spark video. The wind was a little strong so I had to land quickly and didn't get everything I wanted.

In 1872, the Caldwell brothers walked from here, over Brush Mountain to the right, and down into Blacksburg to enroll in Virginia Tech. The Cadets reenact the hike every year to honor the brothers (and walk past my house!)
