Dai attenzione a chi cade.

Working with some of my past drone work and encountered this late fall sunrise over the inlet, looking toward Cape Henlopen, with the Roosevelt Inlet in the foreground.
I put this panorama together from shots I took with the DJI Mavic Pro. For years I have been wanting to capture this meandering river with the dramatic mountain background, but I could never find the right spot. It turns out that the right spot was just up.
Looking north west from app. 400 feet above Canary Creek Bridge. In the central portion of the image is the Great Marsh Preserve. The wetlands continue north along the length of the state as the coastal buffer along the Delaware Bay and River. To the right is the encroaching development, while on the left is one of the last farms along New Road that has not yet succumbed to the developers' dozer blade.
I don't really believe in ghosts but when I find places like this on my own I'm a little more open minded 👻

An oblique aerial view of the entrance/exit to Baragoot Lake, an estuarine lagoon on the NSW Far South Coast. The character of the connection with the sea is an expression of three variables: fresh water discharge from the land; wave power; and tidal forces. The entrance is usually closed at this site due to the dominance of the waves that readily construct a sandy barrier beach. However, after persistent and heavy rainfall, that barrier can be broached by freshwater outflow, with tidal currents then able to maintain an open channel until wave power becomes dominant again.
