Chocolate spider cookies
Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of barely simmering water. Once melted, turn off the heat and leave the chocolate in the bowl to keep warm while you assemble the spiders.
Unroll some of the liquorice wheels and cut into 2-3cm lengths to use as the Chocolate spiders’ legs.
Splodge a small tsp of chocolate onto half of the cookies. Arrange eight liquorice legs on top, then sandwich with another cookie. Spread some more chocolate on top of the second cookie to cover, then put somewhere cool to set.
Use the icing pens to add eyes, by first blobbing two big dots of white icing on each, topped with two smaller dots of black icing.
About half way done. Plants used are Cyperus papyrus, and a tall grass dubbed Purple Fountain Grass. I'm using them in containers for right now in order to get the height we want to act as a way to cool off the room they are in front of. We used a simple shade clothe across the top, which helped cooling almost immediately. Got all the plants and shade clothe and pave stones at Home Depot for a some what reasonable price. All the rocks and pebbles I found through out the yard, but need more for finishing touches.

Start by wrapping one cheese cloth package around the foam head. Take a second cheese cloth package and tie around the neck, similar to a cape. Tie one corner of the other two cheese cloth pieces to each side of your first knot. Now lets make it a little spooky! Start with dark brown craft paint and imitate the shading of the original skull head. Then start rubbing various brown inks over the cheese cloth surface to replicate the aging of the original piece. Insert a threaded hook in the top of the head. Hang your Halloween mummy ghost with fishing line on a porch or anywhere outdoors. Tie up the “arms” of the ghost with fishing line. The arms are those cheese cloth pieces that you tied on both sides of the ghost. Trim the bottom with scissors to give a ragged edge. I just cut into the cloth and pulled in a few places to give the appearance of the original version.

THE LOUISVILLE ZOO HALLOWEEN PARTY
Where: Louisville
Deemed the “World’s Largest Halloween Party,” Kentucky’s Louisville Zoo takes great pride in itsannual Halloween party. Transformed into a Halloween hub, the Zoo welcomes families for activities that are more sweet than scary. Take a journey through themed walkways where favorite characters from Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Wizard of Oz are on hand for photos and fun. Trick-or-treat alongside zebras, bears, and giraffes as you make your way on a train that slices through the park. And be on the lookout for the Headless Horseman, who makes an annual appearance at the event in a most unexpected way.

I honestly thought I would be done with this project six weeks ago. And I thought I was being realistic in my assessment.
I was way wrong.

Three years ago I started to turn some of my Instagram shots into wooden pictures for friends and family. This is the first time I made one for myself. Our visit at Lake Wanaka in New Zealand now became a key holder. #diy #diyproject #wanaka #lakewanaka #holzbild #woodenpicture #keyholder #keyrack #igworldclub #neuseeland #newzealand #newzealandtrip
