Found this guy playing in my sink, so i took some shots and helped it to the window where it flew away peacefully. Setup A55,Tamron 90, f42 flash with DIY diffuser

Melted good-quality dark chocolate poured into a greased/lined pan with chopped up candied orange peel sprinkled on top. This took less than 20 minutes but was so addictive and an instant fave!

It needs either a coat of paint, or stain, and possibly some traction strips.

 

Whatever we choose to use, we'll probably use it for the fence section Cimmy also built a few years ago. The front porch, parts of the house, and the west fence section are all painted grey, so we'll keep it consistent.

This is a sawhorse of sorts; the "jaw" is a vice grip that holds things in place. Bill brought a 2 X 4 to partially hold the lightbox in place while we got it secured.

 

Right now it's folded up. There should be a demo video, which I'll get uploaded later.

Cinnamon and applesauce holly cut-outs. I punched holes on each end with a straw, then outlined them with white paint after they'd dried so they would look like gingerbread. Then I strung them on candy cane-colored twine for a simple, fun banner.

 

You can't see clearly what Cimmorene is doing here, but the old step is visible for comparison.
