Tried clamshell lighting for the first time. Kinda like the look, but not the hassle of the equipment in my way.
Strobist: yn460 at 1/8 on bottom, pz42x 1/4 or 1/8 on top.
Made my first DIY backdrop today.
The great thing about self portraits is you can keep shooting until YOU'RE happy, of course, I only have another 30,000 or so activations left on my D50.

Finally i received my first strobist gear (Cactus V4 1 Trigger & 2 Receivers, 2 Light Stands, 2 Umbrella Brackets, 2 See Thru Umbrellas, 2 Strobist Gel Kits with 2 Lumiquest Gel Holders ) and decided to take some pictures of myself :) The backdrop is a piece of black Fabric over 2 towers of chairs as my Backdrop stands.
All comments, criticism and tips for improvements are (as always) welcome.
