This Maida Burfi Recipe is a Perfect sweet, with less ghee, fewer ingredients, that too not much work on the stove top, cool right !!! Yes, it can be finished within 20 minutes, that is what much needed, for these last few days of Diwali rush. 20181107_9318_EOS M-42 Diwali #2 Mixing Kava

Kava is a traditional drink among many of the South Pacific islands (Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga etc), but has been adopted by the Indians in Fiji as a social drink, especially those who do not drink alcohol.

It is made from the powdered root/stem of the Piper methysticum bush. It is expensive (in New Zealand about NZ$120/kg).

Mukesh, our host for Diwali celebrations was mixing the first batch with water.
