22 February 2024. Divis Tower, the remains of a more extensive estate from the mid-sixties, a prominent feature approaching Belfast along the M1.
Built on a site once occupied by Mary Street.
Divis Street (foreground) was originally Bogan Street being renamed some time between 1861 and 1868.
The continued existence of the 1960’s multi-storey flats in currently under review.
