Después de una semana santa de muchas muchas fotos en muy buena compañía, se me ocurrió ir en solitario a visitar a esta preciosidad. Había pasado por allí alguna vez que otra en este tiempo, pero a hacer fotos por lo menos desde hacía un par de años que no iba. First quick edit from one of the pics I´ve taken this morning.

Precisa ruta esta de las tres cascadas en Cerler. Buen rato pasamos entre chaparrón y chaparrón @rafadiez78 @mardonss y yo. La cascada es tremenda como se puede apreciar y estar posando en el puente era una tarea bastante complica por el viento y el agua que escupía la propia caída. Pero como bien dice el dicho, sarna con gusto no pica 😜

Una buena mañana de un buen domingo de esta buena primavera decidimos @juanmanuelfernandezlopez_ y yo ir en busca de lugares “poco transitados” sin saber muy bien lo que nos íbamos a encontrar. Entre sube esa ladera, baja al río encañonado, remonta, badea…, pudimos entretenernos algún rato sacando alguna que otra foto. Un poco de scouting en búsqueda de lugares interesantes. Lo mejor de la mañana, la compañía. Y como premio, los bocatas y un buen café al lado de alguna cascada ☕️

Esa tarde de un viernes que fuimos a buscar las más que probablemente más espectaculares vistas de Euskadi, nos sorprendió una niebla que no dejaba ver más allá de 50m. This typical english autumnal image in Twigmoor Woods, North Lincolnshire. My goal for the morning shoot was to capture some tree shots and undertake a scouting mission to find locations to come back later in the year when there is some snow on the ground. However, it goes to show that it pays to stop and look down every now and then.

I just had to capture this fallen silver birch tree. To me it looks like it is being engorged by the forest floor and the branches are like arms, desperately trying to heave the tree out of the impending doom.

Si, no se me ha ocurrido otro título mejor, qué le vamos a hacer 😂😂. Vamos al lío. Allá que aparecimos @zetaerreargazkiak y yo de noche, con los frontales y sus haces de luz atravesando la intensa niebla. Niebla, vamos bien. Llegamos al bosque, todo perfecto. Plantamos el trípode, cámara, volvemos a mirar… y la niebla???. Se había esfumado. Vamos mal 😂😂. Aun así fue un disfrute andar levitando por ese precioso manto, intentando no pisar o estropear lo menos posible el ya por si frágil bosque. Esto último creo que lo conseguimos. En cuanto a la foto, me costó muchísimo buscar algo original. Lo que intenté, como siempre, fue buscar profundidad, dividiendo la foto en tres. Un primer plano con esa planta solitaria, el plano medio, con los narcisos como protagonistas y el fondo por donde entraría la luz y las hayas zombies para cerrar la foto. Espero al menos que os parezca original.

Le long d'un magnifique ruisseau tuffier

Another quick edit from this magical morning yesterday.

Hace cosa de un mes que decidí volver visitar en solitario esta preciosidad. Si pudiera pasar por ella sin pisarla lo haría, porque es un lugar lleno de flores de muchos tipos, helechos… pero como todavía no puedo volar, intente andar lo menos posible y mirar muy bien por donde pisaba. Tenía muchos encuadres muy parecidos, pero decidí incluir la piedra del primer plano completa aún a riesgo de perder fuerza en el agua del rápido que se formaba junto a ella.

The Cedars of God (‎ Arz ar-Rabb "Cedars of the Lord") is one of the last vestiges of the extensive forests of the Lebanon Cedar, Cedrus libani , that once thrived across Mount Lebanon in ancient times. Their timber was exploited by the Phoenicians, Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Romans, Israelites and Turks. The wood was prized by Egyptians for shipbuilding; the Ottoman Empire used the cedars in railway construction.

The mountains of Lebanon were once shaded by thick cedar forests and the tree is the symbol of the country. After centuries of persistent deforestation, the extent of these forests has been markedly reduced..

Hebrew priests were ordered by Moses to use the bark of the Lebanon cedar in the treatment of leprosy. The Hebrew prophet Isaiah used the Lebanon cedar as a metaphor for the pride of the world

It was once said that a battle occurred between the demigods and the humans over the beautiful and divine forest of Cedar trees near southern Mesopotamia. This forest, once protected by the Sumerian god Enlil, was completely bared of its trees when humans entered its grounds 4700 years ago, after winning the battle against the guardians of the forest, the demigods. The story also tells that Gilgamesh used cedar wood to build his city.

Over the centuries, cedar wood was exploited by the Phoenicians, Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Romans, Israelites and Turks. The Phoenicians used the Cedars for their merchant fleets. They needed timbers for their ships and the Cedar woods made them the “first sea trading nation in the world”.[4] The Egyptians used cedar resin for the mummification process and the cedar wood for some of “their first hieroglyph bearing rolls of papyrus”. In the Bible, Solomon procured cedar timber to build the Temple in Jerusalem. The emperor Hadrian claimed these forests as an imperial domain, and destruction of the cedar forests was temporarily halted.

The Cedars of God are found at an altitude of more than 2,000 metres (6,600 ft). Four trees have reached a height of 35 metres (115 ft), with their trunks reaching 12–14 metres (39–46 ft).

Low clouds and a storm came in, the woods were already beautiful but with that fog on the back (literally clouds) it became even more fascinating.

Els santuaris d'Ise són el centre religiós del sintoisme i el lloc més sagrat del Japó. Hi ha dos santuaris (jingu) principals, el Interior (Naiku) i l'Exterior (Geku), i uns 120 de secundaris. Per a mi, es el lloc més impactant del Japó, precisament per la impresionant natura que envolta el santuari. I cal dir que cada 20 anys, des de fa 7 segles, tot el santuari és reconstruit de cap a peus!

Tot el bosc que envolta Naiku és sagrat. El riu que hi pasa és l'Isuzu.

In the city of Ise, there's the most sacred place on Japan: the shrine of Ise-Jingu. It consists of 2 main shrines, the Interior (Naiku) and the Exterior (Geku), and about 120 minor ones. For me it's the most awesome place in Japan, in part for the natural seting, and part for the ritual you feel in the place. And all the buildings are rebuilt every 20 years since the 7th Century!! So you have a pre-medieval building almost new in its materials but milenarian in it's shape!

All the forest surrounding Naiku is sacred. The river is the Isuzu.

I just LOVE the colour BLUE !! And, certainly -- on the Artistic level— I love Spring as much as I love Autumn! Cause our beloved Earth becomes equally enchanting!!!Remember the Blue Forest, that we had shared in the Springtime past ( www.flickr.com/photos/agapanthus/4573853425/ )?? Well, we can share again some lovely ….blue moments of those 2 Spring-days… I had been in the Blue Forest twice, within 2 consecutive days : once with Nicholas and it was not sunny; once with ….Liza only, and it was!

Certainly, the sun , tenderly touching the new-born leaves, passing through the trees , brightening the spots on the springing blue ground, is a pure delight! But here , you can see the blue moments with just no sun….Just, with the natural Divine Forest-Light only! And this special light of a forest is an All-Seasons blessed Light! Cause, when walking in the Forest, our heart and our spirit immerse in the eternal Light of our Spiritual Being!!! And THAT feels like Divine magic !!
