An important part of the ‘Making a Living from Livestock’ project involves strengthening of livestock commodity associations such as LCDs and ISALS. Bambelelani Goat group has been a beneficiary of the project in this aspect. Established in 2014, the 17-member goat group has grown from humble beginnings to operating a successful enterprise through their lending and savings. Through the project they have been assisted with trainings in goat husbandry, veterinary services for their goats, as well as financial management skills that have proved crucial in helping them to sustain their successful business for the past 3 years.

On 29-30 May, the International Workshop “Developing a Skilled Workforce for Economic Diversification”is organized jointly by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Swiss Cooperation Office. The aim of the event was to discuss the main political suggestions in strengthening qualification and vacational training systems for economic diversification as well as to identify common research issues, future exchange opportunities and cooperation jointly with the representatives of international research centers.

Cullman High School provided their students with multiple opportunities to honor American veterans and increase their awareness of the sacrifices that veteran’s have made to protect our country and freedoms.
On Wednesday, over thirty veterans participated in the Annual CHS Veteran’s Day assembly. During the program each veteran was presented with an American flag and CHS Certificate of Appreciation for their service.
Cullman City Mayor Max Townsend greeted the veteran’s and three CHS students, read their selected essay in honor of our veterans past, present, and future.
On Friday students in social science classes were given the opportunity to participate in an awareness program provided by the North Alabama Vietnam Helicopter’s Pilots Association. As a part of the program students were able to interact with authentic Vietnam era weapons and dress, including a Huey helicopter.

The St Vincent's Works is a former factory and offices at Silverthorne Lane in Bristol, England.

The building was built as offices and factory by Thomas Royse Lysaght, for his brother John Lysaght of John Lysaght and Co. with the buildings being completed by R Milverton Drake. The site was previously owned by Acraman and Company and was involved in the manufacture of corrugated-iron and pre-fabricated buildings, which were exported around the world and particular to settlers in Australia. By 1878 the facttory employed 400 men and produced 1000 tons of galvanised iron sheet a month. The company also diversified into making constructional ironwork, exported around the world from Bristol.
The building is now home to the head office of renewable energy consultancy GL Garrad Hassan.
It is an example of the Bristol Byzantine style and various of the buildings have Grade II listed building status.
The company offices are Grade II* listed. The offices were built in a Gothic style with a domed atrium decorated with golden Doulton tiles. The offices have wood paneling and throughout the building are elaborate decorations.
