Dita Parlo (1908 - 1971) was a popular European film star in the late 1920's and early 1930's. She inspired both Dita Von Teese, and Madonna, who used Parlo's name & character from L'Atalante for her controversial Sex book and Erotica album.

Dita was my absolute favourite back in 2008, when I had all Jazz Baby line. That's why I kept only her, others were sold later.
Somehow I forgot about Dita... Until now, She's got some new dresses. I'll show them later.

Photo of a Dutch calendar, ca. 1930. We bought the pages at the VerzamelaarsJaarbeurs, The International Collectors Fair in Utrecht. The calendar had been part of the film memorabilia collection of the seller's father.
