Although this may look like the social distancing we have in April 2020, this image is from February 2019. It's not crowded at Ocean Beach because it's past sunset, and the temperatures are fairly chilly.
Ocean Beach Pier is the longest concrete pier in the world, and second largest ocean pier in California, measuring 1971 ft. Currently, the beach is closed, though San Diego County has authorized opening for swimming, surfing, paddleboarding and kayaking on Monday, April 27.

Experimenting time my friends: I know the reflection is quite unreal but i liked the mood it add to this image;0)
I wanted to photograph the sunset at Wallersee/ Austria. On the one hand I was lucky because the otherwise very crowded footbridge was deserted due to the weather. On the other hand, the sky kept getting darker and on the horizon, there was a real spectacle of thunderstorms with lightning and rain showers. Unfortunately, despite the long exposure, the flashes could not be seen in the photo as they were probably too far away. The first drops were already falling, I took the last opportunity before the heavy thunderstorm started. I guess I was amply compensated for the missed sunset vibes!
