Improvisal Design - Dispatchwork São Paulo - Parque da Juventude by Improvisal Design

O que é:

intervenção urbana na cidade de São Paulo baseada na obra do artista alemão Jan Vormann (http://www.dispatchwork.info/), que utiliza peças de LEGO para completar muros e escadarias deteriorados com buracos ou faltando pedaços. Os blocos de LEGO serão montados para serem inseridos em tais espaços vazios. A mobilização acontece entre alguns integrantes do Improvisal Design e demais amigos interessados.

Objetivo:

percebeu-se que esta intervenção vai de encontro direto com os conceitos do coletivo Improvisal Design – base no improviso (design vernacular), minimal design e fundesign – pelo fato das peças de LEGO solucionarem um problema pontual através de uma forma mínima e proporcionando um tom divertido do colorido das combinações de peças. Portanto o viés lúdico e simples aplicado em um problema comum, e ao mesmo tempo invisível, de uma grande metrópole, servirá para aplicar os conceitos do grupo através de uma dinâmica social.

Esta edição foi realizada no Parque da Juventude (Z. Norte) em 23 de maio de 2010.

“I want to repair every broken wall in the whole world with "Dispatchwork". Why not? I think it is a fun approach towards conceiving the decay that time brings along”, says Jan Vormann (DE). He uses Lego for fixing cracks, holes and crumbling corners. He fills them with the plastic bricks, calling the practice Dispatchwork. He already left a colorful trail of repairs in Berlin, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, New York and many other cities around the world.
