Disneyland Forever was a beautiful fireworks show. I photographed it many times from many places in the park. The Rivers of America was one of my favorite spots. On the final night this past Monday, I didn’t bring my tripod. I didn’t pick up my camera. I just wanted to watch and reflect on what an incredible year it’s been at Disneyland during the Diamond Celebration…This..is my land’ and home. I wouldn’t change a thing. You and me, making memories? Today and forever. Always.
On Friday the 5th, we had a fantastic meetup with Capturing the Magic to shoot Disneyland Forever. Due to the popularity of the show, and popularity between So Cal residents to head in to the parks on Friday night after work, we weren't sure we would be able to secure a good location. As you can see, we were able to get front row viewing. It only took us 3 hours before the fireworks, and we weren't the only group to head out that early. The show is wonderful, and I'm looking forward to enjoying it from other locations.
Since everyone else is sharing their Walt projection and Mickey burst shot, here's mine.

I am excited to say that I am going to be moving to California on the 1st of next year! I’m going to be a Disneyland local!
I finally got to shoot the new fireworks show at Disneyland last night. It was a bummer the new castle projections that basically make up half the show weren't working but fortunately for photography, the lighting on the castle during the show was amazing.
Notice Tinkerbell flying around the castle.
I have been busy taking a lot of photos lately so I'm hoping to finally get back to regular uploading to Flickr!
Walt should be projected on the face of the castle here, but the projections were not working this time. Oh well, I'm still happy with the shot. The way the castle was lit was amazing!

Disneyland Forever, the new fireworks show at Disneyland, continues to grow on me. I had originally liked it very much, but now I ADORE it. It's such a wonderful blend of new technology, storytelling, and of course, that infamous Disney magic. I cannot wait to get more familiar with the show - the more familiar I get, the better the photos will be! :)

After three failed attempts to shoot the new fireworks show with my ND filter, I was finally able to break in my Tiffen last night! I definitely need to practice a bit more, but for a first attempt, I'm fairly pleased with my final result.

I finally had the chance at getting fireworks shots. Weird that it took this long to try. Not the greatest, but I know what I need to work on. Let me know your thoughts.
Been holding onto this one for a while as well! (this is from a Disneyland Forever show). This pic is actually the counterpart to a Mickey Burst pic that I shot for a private party. You all will get to see that one later. All that aside, I have yet to ride Big Thunder during the fireworks, and I'm told it's an unmissable experience so I should probably get on that!

The Jungle section of the new Disneyland Forever Fireworks show features the song "The Circle of Life" from the movie "The Lion King" as well as "I Wanna Be Like You" from "The Jungle Book" . I am probably closer to Jungle Book age but the words from "The Circle of Life" perfectly describe my Disney feelings.
There's more to see than can ever be seen.
