Il villino Elena e Maria è un palazzo di Napoli. Fu eretto nel 1904 su disegno dell'ingegnere Michele Capo e dell'architetto Ettore Bernich, i quali lo impostarono secondo lo stile liberty che in quegli anni era architettonicamente egemone in città, evidenziando tuttavia numerosi aspetti marcatamente eclettici, a partire dal portale e dalle pompose decorazioni.
La struttura, posta agli inizi della spianata di San Martino, è a due piani con una piccola altana al culmine. La struttura centrale in stile liberty, con balconate in elaborati motivi in ferro battuto, forma un brusco contrasto con le due ali, in stile neoclassico. Questi contrasti sono tipici dello stile eclettico della villa. Finemente lavorati (in ossequio al filone floreale) sono anche gli elementi in ferro, che si ritrovano nei balconi, ma anche nella ringhiera della scala esterna. Ricorrono sulla facciata iscrizioni e stucchi di gusto marinaresco, mentre desta particolare attenzione l'ingresso secondario, al civico 43, ricco di fastose decorazioni eclettiche a stucco e che reca un'altra iscrizione, la quale invita a mirare l'incantevole sirena.

The villino Elena and Maria is a palace in Naples. It was built in 1904 to a design by engineer Michele Capo and architect Ettore Bernich, who set it up according to the Liberty-style that in those years was architecturally hegemonic in the city, highlighting however many aspects markedly eclectic, from the portal and the pompous decorations.
The structure, located at the beginning of the esplanade of San Martino, has two floors with a small altana at the top. The central structure in Liberty-style , with balconies in elaborate wrought iron motifs, forms a sharp contrast with the two wings, in neoclassical style. These contrasts are typical of the eclectic style of the villa. Finely worked (in accordance with the floral vein) are also the iron elements, which are found in the balconies, but also in the railing of the external staircase. On the facade there are inscriptions and stuccoes with a maritime taste, while particular attention is paid to the secondary entrance, number 43, rich in sumptuous eclectic stucco decorations and bearing another inscription, which invites you to look at the enchanting mermaid.

The Château de Villandry is the last of the great castles built on the banks of the Loire river during the Renaissance. It is famous worldwide for its extraordinary gardens, which are considered the most remarkable example of a French formal garden (jardin à la française). These gardens are divided into four levels and include the ornamental kitchen garden, the gardens of love, the herb garden, and the water garden, each with a unique geometric design and symbolic meaning. Unlike many other Loire Valley castles, Villandry is renowned more for the landscape artistry surrounding it than for its interior architecture.

Il Castello di Villandry (Château de Villandry) è l'ultimo dei grandi castelli costruiti sulle rive della Loira durante il Rinascimento. È famoso in tutto il mondo per i suoi straordinari giardini, considerati l'esempio più notevole di giardino alla francese. Questi giardini sono divisi in quattro livelli e comprendono l'orto ornamentale, i giardini d'amore, il giardino delle erbe aromatiche e il giardino d'acqua, ognuno con un disegno geometrico unico e un significato simbolico. A differenza di molti altri castelli della Loira, Villandry è rinomato soprattutto per l'arte paesaggistica che lo circonda, piuttosto che per la sua architettura interna.

Questo disegno in graphite è ripreso da una fotografia di un antico borgo sconosciuto....l'ho realizzato con matite Staedtler Mars Lumograph, 2H realizzando le prospettive e le linee architettoniche principali, 2B definendo le zone in chiaro scuro e risaltando le linee, 4 B per le zone in ombra ed i particolari costruttivi da far risaltare e fornire maggior enfasi. Ho utilizzato un foglio Fabriano FA4 liscio avente grammatura 220 gr/mq. Alcune zone le ho sfumate con gomma pane.

This graphite drawing is taken from a photograph of an ancient unknown village .... I made it with Staedtler Mars Lumograph pencils, 2H creating the perspectives and the main architectural lines, 2B defining the areas in light dark and highlighting the lines, 4 B for shaded areas and construction details to highlight and provide greater emphasis. I used a smooth Fabriano FA4 sheet with a weight of 220 gr / m2. Some areas I blended with gum bread.

Disegno notturno fatto ieri con matita, acquerello liquido della Schmincke, e penna a sfera, su carta Fabriano di soli 90 g/mq quindi teoricamente troppo lèggerà per tenere l’acqua. Ma la carta Fabriano ce la fa. 16x16, 2022. I made this drawing last night with pencil, liquid watercolor of the Schmincke and ballpoint pen, on Fabriano paper of only 90 g. Theoretically it will be too light to hold the water. But Fabriano can do it. 16x16, 2022

questo disegno a matite colorate, raffigura onde che s'infrangono su scogliere. E' ripreso da immagini che trovo dalla rete. Mi piace raffigurare il mare soprattutto gli effetti delle onde sugli scogli, i colori che mutano nel chiaro scuro della luce solare e creano effetti sull'acqua azzurri, verde chiaro e scuro. Ho utilizzato carta Favini chiara liscia ad alta grammatura 220 gr/mq, una matita in grafite Koo I Noor Hardtmuth HB per disegnare l'insieme delle linee le onde le scogliere, ed ho iniziato la colorazione con matite colorate permanent colors "Pablo" della Caran D'Asche. Grazie per tutte le visite e gli eventuali commenti.
this colored pencil drawing depicts waves breaking on cliffs. It is taken from images I find from the net. I like to depict the sea especially the effects of the waves on the rocks, the colors that change in the chiaroscuro of sunlight and create blue, light and dark green effects on the water. I used clear smooth Favini paper with a high weight of 220 gr / m2, a graphite pencil Koo I Noor Hardtmuth HB to draw all the lines, the waves and the cliffs, and I started coloring with Caran "Pablo" permanent colors pencils. La Vero s.n.c. crea vetrate artistiche rilegate esclusivamente a Tiffany o a piombo .
In entrambe le tecniche il vetro viene tagliato, sagomato e rilegato interamente a mano.
La rilegatura Tiffany consiste in una saldatura di stagno, anch’essa eseguita manualmente lungo i vari pezzi di vetro che compongono la vetrata. Lo stagno ha quindi la funzione di saldare ciascun elemento della vetrata lungo tutta la sua superficie.
Ogni vetrata può contenere elementi prodotti a Murano, sono pezzi fatti a mano, generalmente soffiati a bocca che vanno ad impreziosirla in maniera particolare ed elegante;sono i rui di murrine, i rui semplici, le filigrane e le murrine.
La tipologia ed il numero di elementi inseribili nelle vetrate influisce in maniera predominante nella determinazione del prezzo di queste.
Portovenere - La Chiesa di San Pietro
Nota per la sua antica architettura, è famosissima per le sue particolari valenze panoramiche e paesaggistiche: posta a strapiombo sul mare, la chiesa è oggetto di numerose e celebri fotografie. Costituita da due edifici collegati: l’uno di stile gotico più recente; l’altro romanico, molto più antico. L’edificio più antico, incluso nel perimetro della chiesa ne è parte integrante, a pianta rettangolare con l’abside semicircolare ha l’asse longitudinale correttamente orientato a levante, ne consegue ovviamente che quello medioevale, in forma del tutto inusuale, volge a sud la sua abside quadrata. L’edificio più recente iniziato nel 1256 e terminato nel 1277 secondo il disegno originale doveva essere condotta a tre navate sopra l’area spianta della vecchia chiesa, questo progetto fu poi modificato e i due templi furono collegati mediante due arcate a tutto sesto aperte nel muro della chiesa antica. L’ interno è decorato da larghe fasce bianche e nere e il presbiterio è dotato di due cappelle laterali quadrate coperte da volte ogivali. La torre campanaria, contrariamente al corpo dell’edificio che si presenta avaro di vuoti, si apre all’esterno presentando in ordini sovrapposti delle bifore che ne alleggeriscono l’ imponente mole. Per la tecnica ardimentosa della sua struttura e per la fine eleganza scultorea è una delle costruzioni esemplari dell’architettura gotico genovese in Liguria.

Portovenere - The Church of San Pietro
Known for its ancient architecture, it is very famous for its particular panoramic and landscape values: located overlooking the sea, the church is the subject of numerous famous photographs. Made up of two connected buildings: one in the more recent Gothic style; the other Romanesque, much older. The oldest building, included in the perimeter of the church and an integral part of it, has a rectangular plan with a semicircular apse and has a longitudinal axis correctly oriented to the east. It obviously follows that the medieval one, in a completely unusual shape, faces south. its square apse. The most recent building begun in 1256 and finished in 1277 according to the original design was to have three naves above the open area of the old church, this project was then modified and the two temples were connected by two round arches opened in the wall of the ancient church. The interior is decorated with wide black and white bands and the presbytery has two square side chapels covered by ogival vaults. The bell tower, unlike the body of the building which is stingy with voids, opens to the outside presenting overlapping rows of mullioned windows which lighten its imposing mass. Due to the daring technique of its structure and the fine sculptural elegance it is one of the exemplary constructions of Genoese Gothic architecture in Liguria.
