Some kind of strange malaise is affecting these tabletop Acropora corals. White hard knobules seem to form like warts on the coral surface.

Greening Disease", which can cause bizarre flower patterns, is caused by mycoplasma organisms and spread by leafhoppers
Why is it so hard to meet another person living with #Myositis? With the rare disease patient population so low, 200,000 patients or less, and only 50-75K in the case of Myositis, meeting another patient is unlikely, with the exception of conferences and events. Many patients are miles and miles apart. This is where our support groups have helped, but it is time to take that support to the next level.
We are working to finalize our NEW Video Chat support program! You can be a part of a video chat surrounded by those with like diseases. It may not be as good as meeting directly in person, but you will still be meeting other patients face-to-face! This is a part of continued mission to offer you the best possible support options.
More detailed information about the MSU Video Chat Support program will be announced soon. It will be available for patients, caregivers, family members, and friends! #rarediseaseday #raredisease #nonprofit #autoimmunedisease
