Midori opens the cafe door and finds it in complete disarray -- counters cleared, wallpaper half-torn, and a complete stranger sitting in the middle of it all.
My studio has been in disarray for a few months now. I finally had time to redress most of my pullips and rearrange things so I could display the new additions I got over the holidays.
I've been so lax on posting due to my big move up north last month. We're still organizing our new place, so all of my cameras are in disarray. Thank god for my iPhone.

Devastation inside Ross, Chula Vista store. When I saw this, I could not believe it. I left the store, went to my car for my camera. Amazing.
Vintage style lantern #5 in orange - made two in orange, two in red, and two in yellow, (for a total of six).
New lanterns complete in the BIndlegrim studio! Not easy to return to work with so much in disarray, but the pulling together of materials made for an interesting edition with color choices in either orange, red, or yellow...
I took this photo for a DPS forum assignment - "Disorganized".
To me, nothing says disorganized quite like a tangled Slinky! Brings back memories of childhood disarray.
Services across all lines were suspended just before 8am due to a communications fault at the Old Trafford control. An intermittent service was resumed on all lines around an hour later.
At around 1545 after another problem in the Cornbrook area and services in total disarray the decision was taken to suspend all services.
Typical delay on the East Didsbury line which should have been enjoying a 12min. service.
November 16, 2014 – 12th Pod of Risso‘s dolphins slaughter
The hunters of Taiji have slaughtered yet another pod of Risso's.
At 7:05am, the Cove Guardians spotted the hunting vessels approximately 10-12 miles off the coast and noticed that they were in drive formation, greedily pushing a pod of dolphins toward the cove.
During the drive, the pod almost outsmarted the hunters when they split apart in order to escape, however they were ultimately outmatched and overpowered by the steel death machines, banger poles, slap paddles and 22 ruthless men.
While the defenseless dolphins were netted into the cove, awaiting death, they became so desperate to escape, they began to jump the nets and throw themselves onto the rocks and beach.
Ultimately, the hunters murdered the entire pod, which consisted of approximately 18-20 dolphins, including adults, juveniles and babies — at Taiji Japan.

A strong kicking feeling came out of the pitcher. Folk dropped the pitcher in alarm. High pitched laughter filled the room and a thick purple smoke filled the air. Folk had no idea what the heck had just happened, She backed away from the pitcher in total disarray.
the light within me shines, like a diamond mine, like an unarmed walrus, like a dead man face down on the highway, like a snake eating it's own tail, too full closet burst open in disarray.

This is there I decided to start taking my digital assignment. I'm mainly focusing on girls who look like they're in a state of disarray or they have no express at all. I will be adding 4 more photos to this project.

At a party in 1988, my wife took this photo of her son and husband. I have seen this look in other men. Smell the scalp of his infant child and a man will contemplate the horizon. Perhaps this is a hard-wired feature of masculinity, but I remember this moment as my own personal transcendence. And considering life’s disarray, a counterintuitive optimism was welling up. This state of mind persisted, and within months Becky and I had resigned our jobs in the City and departed Brooklyn for upstate New York.
Bad seasons and hard times were advanced as the major reasons for the delay in erecting a permanent Quorn Institute before 1885. But with the prospect of a good season in 1884, a design was prepared by Thomas Burgoyne, architect, first Dispatch editor and South Australian Member of Parliament, “for a handsome and commodious building” to be erected at a cost of £3,000.
Meanwhile, plans were thrown into disarray when the State Government of the day announced that it would no longer subsidise country institutes. As a consequence, a memorial was drawn up and presented to the government with the result that the threatened action was averted.
However, by this time circumstances in Quorn and its surrounding districts had changed. The season which began so promisingly had taken a turn for the worse with the result that the Institute Committee decided they could no longer justify the large expense in erecting the original design. Yet rather than defer the project altogether the decision was taken to modify the design and erect a building. Tenders were called and that of constructor D. Swan was accepted for £536.
The memorial stone for the Quorn Institute was laid by Mrs W.C. Barton, mayoress, on 14 October 1885.

HOLIDAY AT QUORN
Quorn, October 14
The foundation stone of the new Institute was laid by Mrs Barton, Mayoress, about 10 o'clock. The members of the Friendly Societies and a large number of townspeople witnessed the proceedings. Speeches were made by the Mayor (Mr W C Barton), Mr A B Moncrieff, and others. The day is being observed as a close holiday.

The Institute was built at the back of the block with a frontage to Seventh Street, the remaining Railway Terrace frontage being left for future building operations.
The Institute is of Quorn stone with cement facings and an iron roof.
The Port Augusta Dispatch noted – The frontage is 23 feet and the depth 60 feet: walls are to be 16 feet high and the distance from floor to ceiling in all rooms will be 15 ft.
The street entrance is through a little porch on the north side of the building with a door into the front room which is to serve as a library and reading room. Behind is the Secretary’s room, backed by a chess and draught room, with larger apartments, intended for “lodge” use, at the rear.
Lighting is provided by two large demilune headed windows in the front and three square topped ones in the northern walls.
However, by 1890 the community was beginning to feel prosperous enough to erect a town hall.
The Council, after a good deal of negotiation, was able to gain the consent of the Minister of Education and have the Institute property transferred to ratepayers so that the original design fronting on to Railway Terrace could be completed. The title was transferred to the Quorn Corporation on 19 November 1890 and tenders were called with the contract being awarded to Messrs Moran Bros of Port Augusta for approximately £900. The architect was F W Dancker of Adelaide.
This building houses Council Archives (formerly Institute Library Reading Room) and [Town Hall] Supper Room (formerly offices of the Corporation of Quorn.)

The Cultural Landscape of Boardrooms
In this period of tumult, our authorities descended into a state of deliberate and reckless disarray. Showered with adulation by state apparatuses and submerged in a sea of capital, they ostensibly solicited the counsel of the populace. Yet, in the secrecy of their chambers, they brazenly disregarded proposals that championed fairness and long-term viability.

It is about being creative and innovative with knowledge
It is amazing how much this has all changed over that past five years... things were naturally decayed and in disarray, but now how it has accelerated.
Twins Marcelle (top) and Matisse (bottom) loved dolls so much that they had enough of them to populate a school; another set to be a family of 9; and another group who inexplicably became a little-girl gang. Every week, one of the twins would say, "We need more dolls." No one could imagine why. Yet, unexpected developments occurred that meant that new dolls might actually become a necessity.
The abductions began shortly after the arrival of Barkley, the family's foster dog. Marcelle and Matisse were alarmed to see their dresser in disarray and the dolls who they put there knocked aside in different directions.
"Where's Cynthia?" Matiisse asked.
"She's gone? So is Hilda," Marcelle replied.
The Case of The Missing Dolls had begun.
The mystery soon was solved when Marcelle woke up early the next day and saw Barkley go up to the dresser, take Little Miss Revlon by the head and quickly carry her off. Marcelle jumped out of bed, followed him, and saw Barkley behind the sofa, where he had deposited the now-headless Hilda and Cynthia.
When Matisse woke up, Marcelle told her little sister of her discovery.
"We must guard the dolls," Marcelle declared. "Even when we sleep, we must protect them from being kidnapped and having their head bitten off by Barkley."
"Yes, we will protect them," Matisse vowed, looking at the bedraggled group that Marcelle had returned from their abduction.
The girls' vow was tested a day later when the weekend came. They usually napped on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. But even sleeping would not prevent them from guarding their dolls!
"Let's take them to bed," Marcelle told Matisse at nap time. "That way, they'll be safe."
The girls were soon to learn an important lesson: Don't count on being able to outsmart an animal.
As soon as Barkley noticed Matisse drift off to sleep on the bottom bunk, he came softly up to the bed and swiftly made off with Barbie.
Marcelle thought she had heard the tapping of his feet on the floor. Suddenly, she realized: Another soon-to-be-headless girl!
"Don't worry, My Doll Friend," Marcelle proclaimed as she prepared to jump from the top bunk, "I will save you!"
