We had a little soiree in the backyard for Nancy's birthday

Austin making a fondue pot so we didnt have to buy one

Appetizer: slices of almost-brittle, strong-flavoured romano cheese (good with the vino)

 

Entree: sautee onion in olive oil, add scallops until browned, add pecans to toast, add sliced strawberries enough to *just* warm and then toss whole thing in greens. Top with dollop of goat cheese.

 

Dessert: Canadian imported chocolate bar.

It was supposed to be a small pre-housewarming-thing. But Scott and I ended up having to feed a lot of people!
