A Burlington Northern commuter train, also known locally as a “dinky”, ducks under the signal bridge at Naperville, Illinois, on the afternoon of April 15, 1989. We are 26.2 miles west of Chicago Union Station on BN’s busy triple-track main line.
Dinky Donuts . . . did Dunkin copy them? Found tucked in a corner under the East Gate in Chester, UK. One of my British friends says Dinky used to have a food truck in his neighborhood and he had fun watching the donuts being made.
The Dinky is a short 2.5 mile commuter line (mostly college students) that runs from Princeton University to the main Northeast Corridor line in West Windsor NJ. This was shot with a full spectrum infrared camera and a Kolari IR chrome filter

BN E8 9907 stops at the Cicero stop with the Ogden Ave. bridge looming overhead. August 1990. This unit is in derelict condition at Elk Grove IL.
Tributary (a stream really) in Mossman Gorge, Daintree rainforest; the Gorge had rapids but not a waterfall, at least from the tourist walks.
Glad to see my tiny deer back and with no apparent injuries. Also, I was happy that this photo shows his size much better than some of my previous shots. You can see how small he is next to the other deer.
* As far as I know, he is not related to any of these deer and mostly shows up alone. He hangs around with a few bucks at times.
Amtrak's 'Carl Sandburg' and 'Illinois Zephyr' services from Chicago to Quincy, Illinois, have never been long trains, but lately they've started to look ridiculous, operating with only two cars- and Superliners, at that. Here is the dinky little "IZ", train 383, a few minutes out of Chicago Union Station as it climbs up towards Union Avenue on the BNSF Chicago Sub at sunset.

At the very top on the right wing of the castle, there is a balcony with a private dance hall.
It is a place dedicated to parties and receptions.
The king's bodyguard and the queen's lady were discussing landscaping together that might please the king and queen.
Soon a reception was going to be scheduled for the 10 years of marriage of the king and the queen.
They both had to combine their ideas for the result to be breathtaking.
