Dinking around with the wifi on my Olympus EM10.. This can happen when you can't find a model :)

These are printable shrinky dinks... It said not to use an epson printer, but since that is the printer I have, I decided to try it out anyway.

Step 1- Lay out your designs on a 8x10 sized template in photoshop or your graphic program of choice. It says to lighten your designs to 50%, so that's what I did. It also says that you should set your printer to "transparencies" but mine doesn't have that, so I just set it for "thick paper" and just printed it normally... no photo setting as that would use too much ink I would imagine.

Step 2- Cut them out... and I left a white edge. Use a puncher to make a hole at the top if you want to make a charm.

Step 3- Preheat your oven to 275-300 degrees. Place them on cookie sheet (I used a pizza tray with holes on it) and put them on a brown paper bag. I didn't have a brown paper bag, so I cut a piece of brown shipping paper.

Step 4- Bake for 3-5 mins. This is fine if you have a newer oven, but this oven is old, from the 70s and takes twice as long. Adjust your cooking time accordingly. Watch 'em curl!!

Step 5- Wow, they shrink down a lot!

Step 6- Aww, look how cute they are!! I'm going to make tote bag charms and keychains out of these. I also sprayed them with a clear varnish. Super gloss clear Krylon.

Have fun!! This would be a great project for the kiddies! Well, if you have some ;)

Around 100,000 people gathered to say farewell to Hrant Dink and share the pain of his family. People only chanted one slogan throughout the 8 km. route, 'We're all Hrant Dink, we're all Armenian.''

Double Income, No Kids? Maybe, maybe not either way this couple seem to be enjoying each other's company walking along the Monmouth Beach Shore on a rather frigid February morning.

Happy Slider Sunday!!! -- This one was shot looking right at the sun and I was on auto so picked up a lot of brightness but I kinda liked the effect so only toned it down a little. Added a smidge of HDR to bring out the footprints wave highlights.. Of course, cropped to achieve a good 'rule of thirds' balance.

Dinks in the garden hiding. Managed to see him this time but most times he is much better camouflaged.

Sorry I have not been around much lately. Just been so busy or tired with no time to take pics. Now that the weather is brighter and a little warmer, things will change.
